I would say I'm expecting a win in that game. I've said it for weeks I think they'll win that.

And also, with PC winning last night, it looks very likely Maine will draw either Lowell or Northeastern for the first round.

Maine would have a shot at UML. Definitely want to avoid going to NU, IMO.

From a standpoint of Maine's chances of victory, I absolutely agree with you. Maine at UML might actually be the best chance at an upset in the first round if it were to shake out that way, while Maine at Matthews is probably sent home in two straight. However, from a perspective of an exciting and hard hitting series, going to NU is the bet. Theres a lot of vitriol brewing between the teams, and somehow finding a way to knock those punks out would be amazing.

"IF" its Maine @ UML in the playoffs....I like Maine's chances big time with Swayman in net. I don't like a NU matchup...for some reason they seem to not play well versus NU. Oh well it will be interesting down the last 2 weeks for Maine...I was on record of 3-3-0 the last six games, but boy would a couple more wins, especially @ UMass make for a interesting 1st rd. matchups. Believe, it could happen.

Swayman has been great down the stretch for sure. Hawkey and Wall (great goalie names, or what?) are on the same page, however... Both UML and NU have similar home records, but NU is the better offensive team. If Swayman continues to play as well as he has, I could see Maine winning at Tsongas in three, then having a shot to reach the HE finals if they don't face UMA.

I am just hoping Maine plays them hard. One game. Give it all you have this one game. You said you were sick of losing. Go after it. The only way this team takes a step is to realize... **** I can do this too. :)

As critical as I've been regarding the talent of this team, I really have never faulted the effort they've put forth.

If Swayman continues to stand on his head, the HEA FF is certainly a possibility.

I still consider that a long-shot, but who knows.

Really not stepping back. I continue to consider Red the wrong man for the job, and I'd prefer to see a change at Maine.

Having said that, Blue has an outside shot all of a sudden. Might as well see where that goes for the time being.

Odds are against us.... But I am happy cheering these guys on. Man, they probably have enough talent. Let's see how she goes. :)

Why not? None of us will live forever, and it doesn't appear that Maine is looking to make a change at the top.

So, we have what we have, but I'm certainly not holding my breath on this one.

I dont know about UML I dont really love any matchup with Bazin with last change over 3 games

These guys can and will play with anyone. You fault.... bottom line... But they work hard. We might not be where we want to be. But this team has us headed us in the right direction. That Robbins deserves C. That kid bleeds two tone blue. Just throw shoulder up high and get her on net. On net Robbins! We can win. :D

This night is going about as badly as it could. BU is winning and UMass is losing.
