Well, not a very good season. But, at the end of the day, when you sweep BC on their ice it counts for something.

Seems like a bunch of yuppies around here now.

I think if this team makes the offs, and gives a good run at a top team... life would be ok.

Returning most of the top scoring would be good - given they have 2 to 3 years left, respectively.

Now, on the fans. Drink - get rowdy - and go down under the boxes when you can and give the tall redheaded gentleman that leans on the post all the guff he can handle.

All that happens over the course of these last few weeks = Alfond arena is normal. :cool:

Let's say that Maine and UMass finish the RS in a dead heat... What's the second tie-breaker?

I was at the game, where were you?

Good win but boring game, didn't have much jump until they killed Rutts penalty. Joey was at half speed, he limped off the ice several times. With UMass tie at UNH, playoff chances look worse and worse. Maybe they can catch Vermont?

I agree, the team was sleep walking the first two periods. With this much on the line...? Lucky for us their goalie let in a softie to get us back in the game. We lose the tiebreakers against the teams ahead of us. I think we need a win tonight and at least 2 points next weekend.

Back to back wins at Alfond, wow, you're asking for a lot :). Its very frustrating to watch this team go thru the motions with a playoff spot on the line. I don't see them winning a playoff game but it would be nice to go into a hostile arena and experience what that's like for the young guys. Its the same thing with the NCAAs(obviously this team has no shot at that)

Even tho Joey was at half speed, he's the one that sealed the win with his hustle and crushing hit to get that puck at the end of the game. Nice to see Kyle B have a good game too.

I was in Oxford at the casino trying to win enough money to afford a UM hockey ticket. But let's cut to the chase........this team is on a roll and looking good for 7th or 8th place. I would not want to be #1 or #2 and have to face Ouellette and the masterful Whitehead.

Now that NU doesn't have a chance of making the playoffs I would expect them to come out looking for revenge on the rutt hit last night. Expect some fireworks tonight.

Too late for that, I won't be there. :) If Maine loses tonight, the rumors will be fast and furious as to whether or not that was Tims last home game?. If he wins, the rumors mill will be quiet for another week. I hope Maine comes with more emotion than they did for the 1st 2 periods last night.

Diamond joined the 100-point club last night.

Also, Some in Buffalo seem to think Brian Flynn could make his NHL debut tonight. They called him up a few days back.

I have no intention of crashing your thread, but I have been smelling San Diego's sarcasm for a while, and I'm in NH. ;-)
