Don't worry Vermont is on its annual second half complete meltdown so you shouldn't be there much longer. Any interest in taking Sneddon off our hands? :D
Any interest in taking TIMMAY off of ours?

We'll do ya this trade, Snedden for Timmay, with a $50k kicker and a player to be named later, with one provision. Sneddon leaves at the end of this season. Deal?

How concerned should PC be this weekend heading up to the Great Friar Graveyard of the North?
(alternator thief jokes notwithstanding)

With Leaman behind your bench, your luck is sure to change...plus Maine has TW as a Trump Card and 0 for Alfond this season....look for a 2-2 tie..!

No Thanks...we have enough of a MESS going on behind Maine's Bench, but good luck...looks like another pair of Hockey East Schools that could go in different directions after the season in Bench Bosses.

Obviously you should be very, very concerned. Timmay is flawless at Alfond this season.

Re: Maine 2012-13 Part 3D: Still digging

I'm happy for the guys -make no mistake about it- and it was encouraging to see the underclassmen doing most of the scoring at BC.

But...

To read Tim's quote about how that all was due to the team buying into his dubious "systems"..? That just smacked of another sour year of vintage Whitehead, and indicates to me that he'll never be willing/able to adjust his approach to his available personnel, or to attract better personnel to Orono.

"EXIT"...>>>>TW after the season.

No one is buying into his systems...0 for how many power plays in the last 6 games and yet no change, STILL!
Just keep trying to groom a certain d-man, personal attention and all...the new golden boy. I guess if you recruit him he must be good, right?
The "systems" are blinding them from making better decisions. Good luck to the boys this weekend. They proved they can win-depsite the coaching.

Re: Maine 2012-13 Part 3D: Still digging

Pivotal weekend for the bears Do Joey D, Beatie and Leen continue to progress on scoring? Does the frosh line continue to mature and drive to net ? Does Team D work as well as if did last week in Conte??? D and Marty are in a good place right now...losing Hutton doesn't help, but D is not an issue....DOes PP stay as a liability, or does Tim make changes and get weak links out of mix.......Give Nemec and Cornell a chance...and gas Norman and Cerratani....D will be 100% better and shots will get throiugh....... Fingers crossed 3 point weekend

Re: Maine 2012-13 Part 3D: Still digging

this reeks of a 2 point at best weekend... inevitable let down after the two big wins at bc, coupled with with the fact that sunday afternoon games have historically been bad and this one is against a team that is finding it's stride... i think pc is a toss-up and then maine loses to uml

Or..............does cocky TIMMAY, flush with arrogant swagger after the BC weekend, wrest the controls of the ship back from the hands of Corkum, only to lay up another of his patented turds in the punchbowl?

Sounds right to me, they can beat PC although I wouldn't bet the house. Sunday I'd normally bet on Maine as Timmay seems to get the team up to play them for some reason:) but Lowell is a better team at this point.

Re: Maine 2012-13 Part 3D: Still digging

The physical size of the Providence forwards will probably give Maine difficulties .... this should be an interesting part of the game to observe .... let me know how it goes.

lol...spot on.

Re: Maine 2012-13 Part 3D: Still digging

A two on one against Maine...we had another stellar PP...even the broadcasters don't get it.
Yes, it worked for 4 or 5 games...............WITH OTHER PLAYERS!
