So I have an idea. Why doesn't the State put a one day, $1 tax on all Allen's Coffee Brandy sold (do it on a Friday). I bet that would generate enough $ to buy out Timmay. AND possibly pay for 1 year of the new guy. I think it's quite brilliant. :D

Hey Mainers, congrats on kicking some BC butt last weekend!

Does U of ME have an internet feed that folks down in Lowell can watch the game on this Sunday?

Goblackbears.com I think. I can't vouch for the quality because I am always at the game.

It costs money, I'm pretty sure. Like 7 bucks or something like that to watch it online. I've never actually done it, I just opt to listen to the radio feed or go to the game.

Now TW has to adjust his power play..............put his big D's up front and put his little F's at the points..........

BC had all their most skilled forwards on their PK unit last weekend and almost scored a couple of shorthanded goals to try to get back in the game. They had total disregard for the Maine PP.

UMaine had the worst shifts of the game when playing with a man up (with no real D on Defense)..............What a joke as this type of coaching almost let BC back in the game particularly when Maine was already up by 3 goal with 6 minutes or so left inthe 2nd game.

I say kick them while they are down and play for the win rather than try to cushion the inept PP stats............Maybe this was another experiment.............

Friday night entertainment options other than a Maine game...They don't like spending time with family or friends or doing something remotely cultural or challenging to their (possibly limited) intellect. Lawd fo'bid they interact with other human beings in a setting other than a sports arena. They might *gasp* expand their horizons!

I would say he knows his Hockey,just he doesn't know how to COACH Hockey or apply it with success @ the Div.1 level...he has to go...plain & simple...he's run his course and he's flat-lined the Program,hopefully it can't continue...lets hope the ENDING is this season...BUT...................................you NEVER know at the "U".

Thanks guys. I don't mind the $$, it's cheaper than the drive up and the ticket.

the upside is that he collar up crowd and JD, the wanna be, stay out of Maine and leave it to those of us who can enjoy it because of their idiotic preconceived notions.

I tell em that they are right, that everything in maine is just terrible, so stay away.

Nice feature on the news tonight about the team. The quadraplegic team played the Black Bears on ice sleds. Some of the players and specifically Ryan Lomberg was impressed with their play. Apparently, they were beating the Bears. I am sure that was a unique experience for both teams.

Gee sounds like UAA with Dave Shyiak. Wondering, IF Shyiak were to get the axe, do you think Blair would want to come back to Maine?
