Lakers now losers of three out of the last four games and are winless in five out of the last six conference games. Sounds like the same Lakers from the past 15 years.
Let's see.............#11 (LSSU) in the nation plays at #7 OSU (arguably the hottest team in the nation) and loses 2-1 and you want to throw them under the bus. It sounds like the boys played hard and well........... If the polls are somewhat correct, wouldn't the higher ranked team be expected to win at home?
The Lakers have nothing to be ashamed about with tonights game. They were a much more balanced and complete team tonight and really gave OSU a difficult time clearing the puck from their end. A game that could have gone either way especially that twice the Lakers rang the pipes without it going in!
That is really great class !Maybe if he would have put some time in the weight room over the off season instead of being a spoiled lazy ***hole, he would have not been kicked off the team.
Maybe, but the goalscoring has got to improve. Roque said he thinks they need to get up to around a 3 goals per game average. They had half that against the Buckeyes and didn't get any points. On paper, the upcoming home series against Northern is probably the easiest CCHA series left in the season for the Lakers, not that any of them are easy. They need to sweep Northern to regain some momentum, or at least get 4-5 points at a minimum. And they need to end their Friday night drought. They haven't won a Friday game since Miami in late October.I support Laker Hockey and always will. They played hard and thats all we can expect from the team, Ohio State is in fact for real. If someone were to tell me before the season where this team would be at this time i would be overjoyed. Remember we did lose a whole lot to graduation this season.

It looks like you people up there are going to be in the same position and making the same old excuses for this coach once again this season, like every other season with that man in charge. A little earlier this time, but usually it is before or after Christmas before the Roque slide begins. You hear excuses in the media, see players disappear off rosters, and nosedive to the bottom of the standings. Maybe this year unlike the past six will different. You people will stop at nothing to support Jim Roque despite less than spectacular results on and off the ice.
