The Lakers played a lack-luster game with no fire. Not sure how to paint that in a positive light. Its the playoffs, and they were run off the ice. I don't think we should be satisfied with sixth place and out. I don't know what happens in the locker room. I don't know if the guys had the flu. I don't know if there were nagging injuries. I can only comment on what I saw. And what I saw was a team soundly beaten in every aspect of the game. And my problem is this: I don't think Western is that much better than LSSU. Certainly WMU was not lighting the world on fire in the second half of the season. So therefore the problem must reside someplace. If they aren't sick, and they aren't injured, then what excuse can be given for being so totally outplayed by a similar program?

I think the team gave the fans a lot of entertainment this year and they should hold their heads high for the season overall. The way that the season came to a end took everyone by suprise, even truth squad.

Like Lakerblue I will cheer for the Lakers no matter who the coach of the team, I think the team got out prepared and out coached down in K-zoo. I think the coach will be back, do i think that the powers that be should look into replacing him yes i do but i don't think they will. More money will help them recruit more thanks dave a lot of us didn't understand that.
