Lowell/Boston University (Home and home), 2/22 & 2/23

Re: Lowell/Boston University (Home and home), 2/22 & 2/23

Anybody know who is starting in net tonight for Lowell?

I remember that game. Carter Hutton got hurt at the end of the 2nd period and rather than put in a semi-solid Nevin Hamilton, Blaise decided to feed Massie into the fire with a period against one of the top teams in the country. Didn't work out so good...

Heading out in a little bit. What's good to eat near Agganis?

Hellebuyck is starting tonight.

Lots of pizza talk on the BU thread (back a few pages.)

There are a few good options near the Arena.

Watching on All Access...it looks like there's hardly anyone there and the place sounds dead...

Re: Lowell/Boston University (Home and home), 2/22 & 2/23

Not so sure. Lowell has a habit of playing like garbage in front of big crowds at the Tsongas.

Easily solved. Tell everyone to stay away! ;)

But really, BU seems really really done with this season already.

Re: Lowell/Boston University (Home and home), 2/22 & 2/23

Better team won. Hands down.

Tom Ryan and Bernie agreed that Lowell has better forwards. I think the quote was something like "Lowell's 12 forwards are better than BU's 12 forwards...it's that simple." Tom also said that right now he thinks Lowell is the best team in the league.

All of which doesn't mean a thing and is in no way an attempt to "absolve" BU of the abysmal effort.

We have 2 second lines.

We have 2 second lines.

Santana is the only one who tries. Ruikka will never graduate. Noonan is always angry. Gill never moves his feet. Megan and Nieto won't shoot unless they're in the slot. Grzelcyk is getting worse by the shift.

I actually said to a friend when the Moscatel-Moran-Santana line was out, "This is our sixth line."
