It was a great game. The Japanese just didn't have the offense they customarily do. And California is an outstanding team that deserves its title.

I'd be willing to bet a Coke or two that had it gone much past regulation, Japan would have gotten this one.

I believe so. The SS dropped a ball while trying to make the flip for a force at 2B. Apparently this kid makes errors about as often as Smokey the Bear starts a forest fire.
