If you do it from your farm, when it is fresh from the cow that is one thing...the longer it sits without pasteurization though the more bacteria will grow and it will likely get you sick. That is why buying Raw Milk in a store is friggin dangerous.

The best is the MAGATs who say "oh its fine, you can just heat up to kill the bacteria!!11" without a shred of irony...

Yeah, it doesn't have a CFR of 50%. There have been ~100 farm workers whose blood had shown signs of recent infection and recovery already in Michigan IIRC and not a single fatality reported.

I love that one of the replies was "Donnie campaigned on making things cheaper"

When on the campaign trail did he ever mention one policy or program he was gonna implement that would make anything cheaper, other than 'drill baby, drill' was gonna somehow magically solve every problem plaguing this country?

All he did was whine about everything, and how everything was sooooo frickin' expensive under Biden, and it was all Biden's fault. Why, people couldn't even buy bacon anymore.

They never said he had a plan, just that he would do it and it's true he did. He never says the details that way they can't say he lied or failed.

That subreddit is my therapy...it's great for the soul!

I still say he never campaigned on making anything cheaper. He just whined that things were too expensive. Said nothing about any intention to lower them other than drill baby, drill, the magical panacea.

It has nothing to with Americans. The average human is a doorstop: American, European, Chinese, Indian, African, etc. The average human being is an imbecile.

How many people are actually challenged in their beliefs? How many think? How many escape the bullsh-t of their parents?

Certainly your right to think the whole fucking planet is stupid. There is evidence to support that. But Joe Rogan's podcast comes from here. And Joe Rogan thinks that the mainstream media is running a psy-op to convince people to be afraid of Dump.

That's some next level shit and it's 100% Grade A America.

Yeah, but we could do a better job of mitigating the stupidity with our education system. For instance, Germany has the AfD and they're a concern, but their influence and power are quite limited and have since dropped from their peak compared to what the Republicans were just handed.

Rogan is proof drugs destroys braincells and just because you read stuff didn't mean your know anything.

I wouldn’t be so sure about the AfD. There’s an election coming up in Germany and the AfD is currently polling pretty high.

Difference is Germany had their fascist revolution already so they are wise to it and play no games. We haven't gone full authoritarian yet so our arrogance/ignorance is killing us. In theory once we get past this the newer version of our democracy will be stronger because we won't let our naivete allow for holes that can exploited.
 
People vote to give up their democracy for the promise of cheaper eggs. Demagogues are always able to capitalize on religious, racial, and ethnic Othering to divide and conquer. All they need is a bad economy -- or even just the illusion of a bad economy.

And while the Right has the inside track on authoritarian takeovers, since the rich by nature rely on dividing people to protect their exploitation, nothing says the Left can't do it, too. If you're a conservative enjoying the current run of neofascism, those chickens can come home to roost.
