FYI. The game is available on the RMU network. They charge you $8.95 for the month just to see the game(s). No audio with the feed tho. Score and time remaining updates are provided as scibbled on a paper with crayon and held in front of the cam at each break. Makes you appreciate the B2 broadcasts.

With Inglis in goal, Lakers win on Sunday 2-0. LSSU has now won 6 games in a row. They have one loss in their last 11 games.
On to East Lansing next weekend. MSU is ranked #13 nationally. The Spartans have won 4 in a row including big wins (6-1 over MTU, 10-1 in championship over RPI) in the GLI Tournament last weekend.

Great start to 2010 for the Lakers. I think teams of the past would of only came out with a split, but this team is proving they aren't Laker teams of the past few years. Lakers have also won five in a row on the road. The real test begins next weekend at MSU. If they can get a split, I'll be very happy. If they don't, then they must sweep UNO at home two weeks from now.

Big win....some may downplay it and say it was just Robert Morris but remember, it was in their rink and after a loooong holiday break. The Lakers stayed focued and did what they had to do!
No question in my mind that we will give the Sparties all they can handle and the Lakers should get at least a split.

Lakers have already surpassed their win total from last year. They have 12 now and had only 11 last season.
Lakers winning streak of six games is their longest in 12 years since the 1997-98 season when they had a six game winning streak then as well. Lakers unbeaten streak of eight games is the longest since 1996 when they won ten straight games.

The Lakers keep on rolling and the big tests will come here in the next few weeks as a big road series at Michigan State then 4 straight at home against Nebraska and Notre Dame. If the Lakers are serious about being in the upper half of the standings, the rest of January will tell the story.
I listened to Saturday's game online. I missed the pre-game because they had basketball on or something, even though the website at the school said the pregame was on the am station. All I can say about the broadcast is I really miss Bill Crawford and the professionalism and constructive criticism he provided during a broadcast. No offense to the new guy but that is my opinion take it as you will.
Keep it up Lakers and I hope at least a split is in store at MSU and come back home and win 3 our of 4. Heck sweep all 6 it is great to see them in the upper half of the standings.

Me thinks this is because his/her kid was booted from the team a couple of years back for being a toolbag, and thus the ill will towards the school, coach & current team. That's my guess..
Regardless.. None of that matters.
Here's what matters.
Lakers travel to MSU to take on the Aggies this weekend. Big series to start the second half of league play this season. The Lakers need to play a full 60 min of hockey each night. They need to have that killer instinct and not let up when they have a lead. Bury the opponent when given the chance. Every league point from here out is HUGE and they can't afford to let any points slip away.

Well it sort of fits...I mean this is when "Truth" reared his(or her) very confused head on this board.
But yeah you're right, what really matters is this weekend and Lake State can really make a statement that they are back. I am pretty confident that the Lakers will do well.

The Friday game is supposed to be on Fox Sports Detroit. I think I heard that the Saturday game is on Comcast Sports.
