I'm not sure if there is a plan for after yet but definitely beforehand we are planning on Greene's around 5ish.

Would love to see as many hockey fans from as many schools as possible! It's a great bar and grille to host a meet and greet like this.

I'll be heading back down to Elmira on Friday night after the game so I'm not sure post-game festivities will be coordinated by me.

I do however challenge any takers to darts for drinks:cool:

I'm also heading south immediately after the game friday night, so won't be at any post-game festivities. But will there be anything on the Elmira leg of the weekend?

You actually provided me my argument why it is unfair to Morrisville.

Say Morrisville travels to the North Country to play Potsdam on Friday and Plattsburgh on Saturday. Plattsburgh does not have to play anybody on Friday if they don't want to. Thus, after traveling all the way up north, playing Potsdam on Friday, a tired Morrisville has to play a rested Plattsburgh. This scenario does happen at times.

Then the other way around also benefits visiting teams. One of the fair things about the travel partner scheme is that the home team on the second night knows they are getting a tired traveling team that has just played one game. Now, Buffalo State could take their time to travel to Morrisville, rest up before a Saturday game, and then play Morrisville who has already played on Friday. The advantage of playing a tired road team is no longer there. Again, this scenario does happen this year.

Anyone who is listening, which is no one other than polarbear2, can now refer to me as Matthew Webbe. I figure that way I'll be original and all sorts of fake arsty intelligent.

I'm an Aquarius and I like long walks on the beach and sunsets. I'm comfortable getting dressed up for a night on the town or staying at home and curling up on the couch to watch a movie. I'm not one for cooking but I'd like to learn. I enjoy visiting art galleries and museums and love hitting up the local coffeehouses. I also like hole-in-the-wall bars and love puppies -- especially those with big beady dark eyes and drool that smells like coriander.

I like staring at things I don't understand, specifically noveau impressionistic art conjured up by no talent hacks, but nodding while doing so as to make myself look important. I ultimately hope people confuse me for a Bowdoin grad and hop onboard my tiger strike action team as we seek synergistic sea change with hopes of implementing the ultimate action plan of pushing for issue crytallization with the intent of establishing a new paradigm shift.

I love used bookstores and once was willing to drink dirty water and lie for a living. Turns out I even got that chance, but I lied too well for some people to handle so now I just want to sing Louie, Louie. I love my family and love spending time with my nieces even though I don't really have any. It sounds good though and is a good fallback for the fact I have no interpersonal skills whatsoever because I made up my own major at Bowdoin and it had nothing to do with anything resembling the practicality of the real world.

Again, I ask. What's with "grille"? We fall into a Dickens novel when I wasn't paying attention or something?

Funny, I was just talking to my sister about this.

It's theatre when referring to live theatre and theater when referring to a movie theater.

But then, she is the one who loves British "stiff upper lip" culture...

Having been a drama club geek for most of my life (still am...), I will say this is one of the first things you learn when participating in the theatre. I wouldn't say it's a "stiff upper lip" cultural thing, per se. If I were doing that, I would NEVER use "Theater"... it'd be a "cinema". :D

Now, back to hockey... First game of the semester is tomorrow, and that means Ultimate Hockey Weekend is getting ever closer. :D

Not drunk, just a few time zones west of d3 hockey land so it may have appeared that way based on the time of the post. Was bored, however, which i think was pretty evident. :)
