If your best players hadn't gone pro, would your team beat BC?

Re: If your best players hadn't gone pro, would your team beat BC?

No, but you can have a better reason for your arrogance.

There's your mistake right there. Being a Gopher fan is the only reason needed for arrogance.

I bet BC fans would be full of envy if York went to Minnesota.

I certainly would be, but for JDUBBS to think Minnesota could actually lure a 65+ year old Jerry York away from BC...the stupidity never ends.

Money talks. The fact that the Gophers are the center of the college hockey universe never hurts either.

JDumb, you really think that York would bail on his alma mater at this stage of his life to work and live in the crap hole that is Minnesota? Regarding the rest of your posts here, here's some quality advice for you:

1.) Basement
2.) Rope
3.) Chair

Have a Gopheriffic day

BC fans telling Gopher fans to "envy" their program is like the Olive Garden telling Italians to envy their Italian food. It's foolish.

Yes, I do. Not only would he take the job, he'd jump at the chance.

I must be missing something. Your squad is third in its own conference in total of number of National Titles and you think anyone "envies" them? The only thing good about Minnesota is leaving it.

First off, they're tied for first in national titles in our conference. They are fourth in NCAA titles. We don't apologize for having more history than other programs.

And with the biggest fan base, the most TV exposure, and tradition no program can match, yes, a lot of people envy the Gophers.

1.) North Dakota (7)
2.) Denver (7)
3.) Wisconsin (6)
4.) UMTC (5).

I guess your definition of "tied for first in national titles" is different from mine...

This is the key, keep up.

JDubbs is counting the AAU titles Minnesota won when they were playing Brock Hall and John Oates.

"National Titles" and "NCAA Titles" are two different things? Dubbs, the "Hawks" titles in the Mighty Ducks movies don't count.
