The Champs: In addition to their historic title and the accompanying hardware, the champs also earned their first trip to the NCAA tourney.

Screened and Deflected: BU's Tara Watchorn walked the puck into the centerpoint area and uncorked a high shot that caromed off a UConn defenseman and past Alexandra Garcia for the game winner.

Naturally. BU can't win any championship without getting a stupid lucky bounce.

I am completely joking, of course. What an accomplishment. Congratulations to the entire Terrier team*, I can only imagine how I would react if it were my Lady Eagles.

*with the exception of Melissa Anderson. Maybe she'll be found to have a GPA of 0 in CGS and be academically ineligible for the tournament. I hope that she continues to be on the receiving end of the same horrible, unsportsmanlike crap she dishes out.

Being a Senior, Anderson is no longer in CGS. It's only for Frosh and Soph. Afterwards, they go into the other schools.
