The game was offered day off.
You really do talk without knowing.
The game was offered on NCHC.tv. You either had to be a subscriber, or pay to see the game that day on a one-time basis. However, anyone who paid to see a third place game in the NCHC tournament, in which both teams had already secured a seed in the NCAA's, is just stupid. I'm a UND fan, and an NCHC.tv subscriber and I didn't even watch that game. You realize those are highlights, right? There is never a score bar in the graphic. The game wasn't on TV.

You don't know what I do for a living.
It's not a question as to whether you're "satisfied" or not (personally I could care less).
Objectively, many of your fellow BC fans have been on the record long AND loud that a regular season title (see small letters) means jack squat, and winning some legitimate hardware (see Hockey East Tourney Champions - see those capital letters) means more than winning a few regional games (small letters again) but not winning the whole enchilada. I'm pretty sure last season resulted in no new hardware at The Heights, unless they've changed their standards recently when I wasn't paying closer attention.
I don't want to be a spoilsport - like you're apparently trying to do with the NU fans - but I think you'll likely have noticed some of the usually more vociferous BC posters have gone quiet on this.
Hmmmm ... why might that be???![]()
I thought you said you love in your grandma's basement. I only assumed you were one of those people who spends all day online commenting about "how you changed your life by clicking this link and now make $30 an hour doing nothing"
...said the person with 700 more posts than me...
Jesus Chuck, I think it's pretty obvious that BC, especially with the standards we hold the team to, pretty much failed last year. It was a good season, they won some games and go to a Frozen Four, but by any objective standard BC fans have, they didn't win any significant hardware (please spare me the talk about the ****pot). BC hasn't won any postseason hardware since 2012. That 4 year stretch has not been seen since 1994-1997 (Cedorchuk's last year plus York's first 3). That's pretty nuts.

You know, I had been pretty happy for NU finally getting off the schneid, after this thread I think I'm back to rooting against them.
Ha, definitely not used to it but they still do have two FF appearances in the last four years. That is still significant.
I think we're on the same page. I was just pointing out how (relative newbie) Cross Check's take on why BC had a better season than NU might be faulty. I was pretty sure guys like you and JD wouldn't disagree.
NU finally wins something of substance, and many people congratulate them/their fans when it happens, only to have one or two bad apples ruin it for the rest of us. The joys of the internet.
so did quinn vote for nu or uml?
we'll let them have their day in the sun and they can go back to sitting in the shade for the next 30 years.
