NCAA, I believe.

Theoretically, IMO, it encourages rougher penalties. If you're gonna take a guy down, then you're gonna do anything you can to have him not score. Before, you might simply trip him or something, but now you might as well tackle the bejeezus out of him, since you're committing a penalty anyway.

7-3 final and the game wasn't even that close. I'm guessing the Gophers played about their best two periods of the season. Congratulations. Does this game represent a turning point? Minnesota putting it all together in the stretch? DU exposed as a pretender? We'll see. But certainly the Gophs b*tch slapped us tonight, that's a fact.

If a goal is scored against the team which a penalty is about to be called on, the penalty still is called after the goal is scored.
