Not saying that Atkinson should win it because I believe it should be Miele but there are a few facts left out of the discussion so far. Atkinson's numbers this year were almost identical to his numbers last year: 31 21 52 1.3333PPG vs. 30 23 53 1.2619PPG last year. He was as dynamic this year as well but one overlooked fact is that his linemates this year spent a lot of time in the penalty box; Gibbons 85 min and Whitney 60. Had they stayed out we probably would have seen much higher numbers for Cam. Not sticking up for him at all but he too was a teen in that incident and his 5'8" 165 lb. frame was probably less than that of the other teen.

You guys (as well as the coaching staff and teammates) are the ones proclaiming this. The burden of proof sits squarely upon your shoulders.
It really doesn't matter. I enjoy playing the devil's advocate sometimes. I do think that the hardest working SOB on any collegiate team is usually the senior walk-on that has maintained a 4.0 in engineering, physics, or music and hardly sees playing time, but just keeps on plugging away and trying.
(I include music not because it is necesarrily hard, but because it takes up a TON of time.)
