Hobey Hat Trick

Re: Hobey Hat Trick

Wow. You people don't have to go into such specifics about Frattin's physique. You merely have to say that he has Adonis DNA.

Re: Hobey Hat Trick

Frattin has great lower body strength. His legs are like tree trunks. And he skates exceptionally fast for his size.
Has the Hobey Baker committee considered if he is innie or outie? What can you tell us about this information? This could be crucial to him winning.

Re: Hobey Hat Trick

Not a coin flip. I agree that both are skilled, but Frattin is noticably bigger, stronger, and is a much more physically dominating player.

Oh, that's my fault. I forgot that they took size into account. How could I forget the Porter/Gerbe debate. We all know that Porter won that because he was a bigger, stronger player.

Re: Hobey Hat Trick

Any of the other candidates ever go out into a -33 degree blizzard to save a teammate from frostbite. Hear he carried Kristo on his sholders to the Hospital. Proof right there that Frattin is a man beast.:D

He also killed the talking twin babies with a rusty spork. Now we are back to even.

Re: Hobey Hat Trick

You cannot prove that Matt Frattin is even the hardest working player on the team. What about when Genoway bag-skated himself after a tough game? I never heard that Frattin did that. Wouldn't that imply Genoway is working harder? What about a guy like Genoway or Gregoire who is coming back from injury? Doesn't an injured player have to work much harder to get back in shape and rehab his injury than a guy who isn't injured? What about a guy like Gregoire who is majoring in finance or investments or whatever? Doesn't he have to work harder than a guy in Tourism studies?

BOX.

Well... Chay did say in some podcast I heard today that .... "Nobody works as hard as Matt Frattin does."

-So apparently Chay thinks he works harder than he does.

But I don't really expect you to take his word for it either because it doesn't take a person long to know what your opinion on Matt Frattin is.

So carry on.

Uh, yeah. Players also say things like "Michigan Tech is a tough team."

I have no doubt that Frattin works hard. But that doesn't mean that he's the hardest working player in college hockey.

so your new argument is that hockey players are liars and Chay doesn't mean what he said? keep going, this is amusing...:D

Parise himself said he was going to stay at UND until they won the National Championship. Even god himself turned into a liar once he was on the UND team.

I know this is a tall order, but think about it. Is Chay really going to say "Meh, I think Miele is more deserving and probably works harder." even if it were true? I doubt it, even though it would hilarious and awesome. :)

once again, the original post was talking about him being the hardest working player on the Sioux. he was not comparing him to other hobey finalists.

Alright, still. Is he going to claim that someone else on the same team works harder than the Hobey candidate? "I am happy for Matt. He works nearly as hard as Kristo."

Once again, it would be sweet if he did.

people are claiming there is no way to prove that Matt is the hardest working man on the team... I have heard Hak talk about how his work ethic is second to none, this is in addition to what Chay said, both of which were opinions of their own that they did not have to offer up if they didn't want to. here's a challenge for the naysayers, come up with some proof that he isn't the hardest working player on the the team this year if you don't believe the captain or the coach...

This is a hilarious argument.
This whole Hobey debate is as well. :)
Miele will win it, and he will be deserving. End of story.
Frattin and Atkinson would both be deserving winners as well, but their history took them out of the running (that, and Miele's 70+ point season).

Indeed. But I do have to at least attempt to help educate the drooling delusional cavedwellers who circle jerk to Frattin nightly.
