One thing you are going to have to realize fast if you are going to be on the boards is that Atlantic Hockey teams don't get a lot of respect, much like the College Hockey America teams before that league folded. You have to grow some thick skin and don't take things to personal.

1. Use good grammar and spelling. I'm guessing that you're an RMU student who's passionate about a program on the rise. I get that! I was that way with UAH 1997-2002 when I was a student. But college students and college hockey fans deserve to be held to a higher standard of discourse.

2. Championships in other divisions do matter, thanks. I don't know why you're all fired up about the lack of a title by Bemidji (or UAH) given that RMU doesn't have one of their own. You consistently ignore things like "BSU and UAH have made the NCAA tournament" and "Bemidji made the Frozen Four". Those things are stepping stones to a title, and the Beavers and Chargers have them. The Colonials do not. Those are facts. They are not a promise of forever, but they are facts.

3. I am not better than you. I root for THE WORST TEAM IN COLLEGE HOCKEY BAR NONE. It's just that I have a good grasp of college hockey history, grammar, and logic. That doesn't make me better than you, either — it just makes me a better poster on USCHO, which certainly does not pay my mortgage.

Believe it or not, I want to see RMU do well.

selling rubber arm bracelets asking for donation. I dont have approval to disclose anything
personal about the man except he is facing a tough situation.

Yeah, I am not sure if they are still selling the rubber bracelets ... maybe someone at RoMo knows? They were $5 ea so I got a couple and have been wearing mine. When I was at NU for the Purps-RMU game on Nov 16, I noticed Burkie was wearing one, too.

Despite being badly outshot they beat #5 Miami tonite, surely Levine must merit some kind of recognition for RMU rarely outshoot the opponents.
So they win the inaurgarel Three Rivers Championship. Well done boys.

If RMU plays the rest of their AHA schedule like they've played their OOC games this year, RMU will be a force to be reckoned with during the AHA Tournament. Congrats to RMU, they've helped all the AHA teams tonight by winning their OOC games this weekend and really throughout the year starting with their win over Quinnipiac.

Levine is good, but those shot totals on the weekend were - shall we say - inflated.

Having said that, RMU is on a pretty good role right now, unbeaten in 8, including wins over Ohio State and Miami.

RMU seemed a half step behind the cadets all night...not sure why. Army just out-hustled them and it was a national broadcast game too. I'd expect a different RMU tomorrow night. One thing that I found strange was that RMU pulled their goalie in the 2nd period after allowing 4 goals. At the beginning of the 3rd he was back in the game, and after giving up another goal, was pulled again. I didn't know you could pull your goalie and then put him back in the game... I learned something tonight, I guess you're never too old to learn.

Not that it happens all the time, but some coaches figure that the goalie may need to settle down after allowing the goals, and then put them back in later.

Didn't you watch the national semifinal, RIT vs Wisconsin, in 2010? DeMichel pulled himself out to let Mads and Jan get some time between the pipes on the national stage, then went back in after they each allowed a goal.
