If you don't know that BSU stands for Bemidji State University, a Robert Morris conference opponent for half a decade, then you really do need to brush up on some things. :)

And now you know why some people only post periodically on the Fan Forum .... much of the "feedback" you get is from individuals looking for
an opportunity to lord it over someone else. It kind of reminds us of some of the kids we knew on the elementary school playground .... "my dog is bigger then your dog" .......

RMU may be a long, long way from a high seed in the NCAA playoffs .... but you should still try and enjoy the ride.

Well I looked up BSU and there for all to see . NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS ---- NONE . just like RMU . :eek::eek:

I couldnt find them in the polls or ratings perhaps its a typo. :confused:

Indeed Robert Morris has played well in many of their games this year. As Komey mentioned only the AHA playoff champion goes to the NCAA's (no at large bids for the AHA teams (at least not yet)) and since all 12 teams in the AHA are in the AHA playoffs, it might really come down to who is playing their best hockey heading into the playoffs. If you don't finish in the top four hope to finish in the 5-8 slots so you can host a first round playoff. I will be at Tate Rink at West Point on both nights to see RMU play Army (I follow RIT, RPI, and Army). If you're at the rink stop by and say hello, I normally sit in the visitor sections and am easy to spot. Best of luck with the rest of your season (except when you play RIT and Army... :)

I am correct; I don't possess correct. Also, when you win a national title, as both UAH and BSU have, you are not a bridesmaid.

For a good cause (I cross-posted on the Atlantic Pick 'em thread also) ...

Bidding ends today in The MeiGray Group Chris Kushneriuk Charity Auction.

Kushneriuk, who played in the ECHL with Wheeling and Bakersfield, was recently diagnosed with cancer.

To help Chris in his battle, The MeiGray Group has two of his game-worn jerseys from the 2011-12 season available for auction. The auction is now live, and runs through Thursday, Dec. 27. All proceeds from the auction will go towards helping Chris “Krush” Cancer.

CHAMPIONSHIP. iF YOU DISAGREE GO ARGUE WITH THEIR WEBSITE.

This site shows they have indeed won NCAA championships in hockey - just not at the DI level. In fact, several RIT fans rooted against them when BSU made the Frozen Four so that the Tigers would have a chance to be the first to win a DI, DII, and a DIII National Championship. I'm sure some BSU fans felt the same way when RIT made the Frozen Four the following year.

So since this is a div 1 thread when did bsu win a div1 ncaa championship . ?

Of much more importance is the situation faced by a former RMU captain. The team was
selling rubber arm bracelets asking for donation. I dont have approval to disclose anything
personal about the man except he is facing a tough situation.

So I will concede that bsu won 100 ncaa championships if one person donates to the cause.

You said they have never won a NCAA championship - you didn't specify which division. They have also gone much farther than Robert Morris has so far and have been much closer to a title that Robert Morris.

Isnt there a thread for Mens div 1 and a thread for div3 plus if you like a thread for women. Would you post womens championships as relevant
to mens div1 or Div3. If its not relevant to the subject ie div1 men its interesting but not relevant.
BSU WEBSITE STATES , ncaa championships won------------------none. Likewise this thread is about RMU not BSU
I concede there are many schools that have accomplished much more than RMU . I have never stated otherwise but this thread isnt about history
but moving over.

Hey move over here comes RMU
Robert Morris has gained some recognition getting honourable mention 15 votes in the polls
They have garnered points against OSU ,Quinnipac and Holy Cross . Not bad for a small school.
With 11 freshmen they are still feeling their way along.
The Three Rivers Tournament with Miami, OSU ,PSU will provide them with a stiff challenge.
Their game on Jan4 against Army is on CBS give them a look see.
Do you see anything about the past , anythng about BSU Yet this thread becomes about BSU, because some fool posts bsu would beat
RMU eleven out of 10 times. That reveals the state of education at UAH.
