Hey move over here comes RMU

Re: Hey move over here comes RMU

Didn't you watch the national semifinal, RIT vs Wisconsin, in 2010? DeMichel pulled himself out to let Mads and Jan get some time between the pipes on the national stage, then went back in after they each allowed a goal.

You know I didn't watch that game as I was on the road to Henrietta to Accepted Student Open House with my son which was held the following day on Friday April 9th, 2010. On Friday morning the campus was abuzz. You would of thought RIT had beaten Wisconsin. But the atmosphere on campus was great despite the loss and made the decision to send my son to RIT that much easier. That same day I gave RIT a tuition deposit, picked up a Frozen Four Pennant at Barnes and Noble, and bought a replica away RIT Hockey Jersey (which I wore at last nights RMU-Army game).

RMU 4 - Army -1

Game was closer than the final score, Army hit the post late in the 3rd when it was 3-1, if that had gone in, it would have made for an interesting finish. Empty net goal at the end, nice long shot BTW, I thought for sure it was an icing but it was smack down the middle. Good split by two good teams this weekend in AHA play at Tate Rink in West Point, nice to see the place sold out too.

It was a rough game to sit through at Ford Field. We still had a lot of fun that weekend through and couldn't have been happier to see RIT elevate the competition level of the AHA.
