There was a rumor late afternoon yesterday that they had confirmation they were still Alive. I didn’t believe it- guessing someone had heard the reports of hearing the banging.

The amount of money wasted on this attempted saving of a few lives is staggering. I heard this morning that the owner, CEO, and one of the passengers of this death trap contraption has spoken publicly on how "safety" is a waste of time and if you even bother with it you may as well stay in bed all day.

Enjoy the tomb of the Titanic Mr. CEO.

A bunch of poor brown migrants recently died trying to get to a better life via boat and not a lot of attention on that

Let’s not lose sight of what’s really important here. That gun made her *feel* safe, and that’s all that matters. If. 40,000 people have to die each year so that gun owners can foment an illusion of safety, that’s totally worth it.
 
Seeing lots of headlines about frantic, intense (and expensive) searches being done to rescue those five people.

Imagine if we devoted this much attention and resources to human beings who were unhoused or about to die because they can't afford health care.

But I suppose it's their own fault. They crawled out of the wrong vagina.

I think it’s because they put their pants on the wrong way in the mornings, but that’s neither here nor there.
