Re: He says he's not dead.

Joe Paterno has been diagnosed with "treatable" lung cancer.

As someone who lost a grandma to lung cancer, "treatable" doesn't mean very much. It has a knack for looking like it's been beaten, then coming back all at once, spreading all over the body, and killing you within a month.

There are a few special types that are far more amenable to therapy-and there are also encapsulated varieties that can be locally excised with an excellent prognosis. But, by and large you are very much correct-most forms of lung cancer are not well controlled. But he is , after all 84, so if this is treatable and he can have quality of life for 5 years then you really cannot ask for much more. If i was offerred the chance to live a life qith quality to age 89 I would take that in a heart beat.

Amazingly, no relation whatsoever to Fred Meyer, who also founded a chain of super stores.

/or Freddy Meyer

Re: He says he's not dead.

There was a golden age of porn?

See-Harry Reems, John Holmes, Andrea True, Georgina Spelvin, Linda Lovelace, Marilyn Chambers, Seka, Aunt Peg, Tracy Lords, Swedish erotica, etc. etc.-on old Betamax tapes, VHS tapes, 8mm Film-long before the internet. This was the way porn was meant to be watched;)

Porn was probably meant to be watched on "roughies" at stag parties like they did in the 40's and 50's. That's one golden age I'm glad I missed.
