Gun control 2 : happy 25th anniversary of Columbine

Georgia has no laws where the parents could be held responsible. They have no gun lock up laws, no red flag, nothing. There is nothing the prosecutors can charge them with.

He’s been arrested and charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder, and eight counts of cruelty to children.

just saw that. Interesting. I was listening to a report last night from a reporter in Georgia that said there are no laws requiring guns to be locked up. No red flag laws. Etc. I was definitely misinformed if that's the case.

It’s outside of a major metropolitan area in Kentucky. Dude’s going to be white physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

The suspect in the I-75 shooting in Laurel County, KY is 32yr old Joseph A. Couch who reportedly purchased an AR-15 this morning along with 2,000 rounds of ammunition. He was on bail for making terrorists threats

And yes, white dude.

I think they are stretching the law in this case. I hope it works. I hope it holds up. The dad needs to rot in a 3' x 5' cell for the rest of his natural born life.

Why would they let someone out on bail who was charged with terrorism? They must have wanted people to die. Isn't that EXACTLY what was passed in the recent gun legislation? The red flag stuff?

You gotta love that the people who rip Dems for their stance on "no cash bail" because it allows criminals to roam free let a terrorist out on bail so he could buy a gun, ammunition and act on his terrorist threats.

I guess I never realized Kentucky was in San Francisco...

And yes, white dude.

You would think that a person out on bail would not be allowed to even buy a gun. And to get it same day.

Thanks to all the gun supporters who have prevented checks. Works out well. So good for family values that people can get instruments of murder so very easily, especially when those people have decided to be a threat to others.

Epic Fail.

Law enforcement received reports of shots fired at Apalachee High School around 10:20 a.m. Wednesday. The attack left two teachers, Richard Aspinwall, 39, and Cristina Irimie, 53, and two students, Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, both 14, dead and nine others injured. The call log obtained by the Post shows Marcee Gray, the alleged shooter's mother, made a 10-minute phone call to the school about half an hour before the shooting is believed to have started.

Gray talked to the school counselor for about 10 minutes around a half hour before the shooting, Chase McGee of Georgia Public Broadcasting tells Up First. School administrators took the call seriously and went to the classroom where her son was supposed to be, but he wasn’t there. Later he tried to enter that room, but was prevented because the door was locked. Witnesses say the school didn’t order a lockdown as quickly as they could have. There was also confusion due to another student with a similar name who happened to be in the same class, but was not there when the administrator arrived.

There was 30 minutes to find this kid before the shooting started. What a colossal abysmal failure.

Why the hell did she call the school? Call tbe cops lady! You want some poor school counselor or principal to go and get your kid like that is going to help?

What reality are the azzholes living in?

It was the kid's mother. Even being an upper middle class white dude, the circumstances under which I'd call the cops on my own kid are extremely limited. You cannot expect parents to make entirely rational decisions 100% of the time when their kids are involved, and especially if we're at the point law enforcement involvement is a distinct possibility.

But you can expect schoolworkers too? As a teacher I say screw that. The FBI already talked to these people they knew the score.

This is not some kid who might get in a fight he plans to murder people. School counselors are not equipped for that.
