Grinding Away..Things that grind your gears, part three

Re: Grinding Away..Things that grind your gears, part three

When someone says "Tell us how you really feel".

That line drives me crazy. It isn't funny. Just stupid.

I hate "To each their own" even more. Not because of the line itself, but because it's always delivered in smug fashion by someone who is ****ed off you might not share their opinion on a given matter.

I say this, but it because I don't feel like wasting any time arguing it. I suppose it may come off as smug, and for good reason, because I don't want to give up any time or effort on the person with whatever issue it may be. I'm not angry when I say it, though. The other person sometimes becomes a little miffed, usually because that person wanted to argue at length about crap that doesn't matter. Therefore, I fail to give a crap. :)

I'm talking about when it's a matter that isn't even argumentative.

A: "I wish I did but I just don't like sushi."
B: "Hmph, well to each their own, I guess."

(note: commonly witnessed when one mentions they might not be a big fan of jazz music)

If you want to ***** about things that are non argumentative- to each his own....

But you can tell us how you REALLY feel about it.

I'm good at putting hot dry sand into the gear works. :)

People who call you to schedule an appointment, and don't bother with turning down whatever they have that's making a lot of racket! Honestly, if you're going to take your time to call someone, is it really that hard to go someplace quiet to make the call. Hell, the bathroom isn't that bad of a place to make a call from.

Yeah, that is a pompous jerk.

Two words: Brent, Chipotle. :p

Well, there is the problem of somebody unleashing a cheekblaster, but hell, I would risk having that over somebody tying to talk over a loud tv or radio and wondering why nobody can hear them. Brett may be full of hot air, but I'm sure one could get in a decent conversations while he reloads.
