Grand Unified Election Thread 2: What is the difference between Biden and Dump?

I have said it forever, when the white supremacists want to march, let them have the streets. There are never 1/10th of them compared to when we march, they make no impact, and the only thing they crave is attention and a chance to be violent. The last thing normal people need to do is bother worrying about their marches when they announce them ahead of time. Now when they come and incite violence by attacking good guys when we march, I wish we'd fvcking eliminate them. But our side actually IS mostly non-violent. Good people should not be anywhere near these white supremacists. Deny them what they want, which is attention and targets for their violence.
I'm not going to even to try to ask, let alone dictate, how black people should react to people who want to enslave and kill black people for fun.

Just read this. In Georgia, over 100 polling places were moved in the last 48 hours before election day.

Only someone who is morally decrepit or a blithering idiot doesn't know the election is in fact over and Joe Biden was the winner.

But we knew our work wasn't going to be over no matter how the elections turned out. We now need to put a little more pressure on republicans in Congress to do the right thing and put the appropriate pressure on the trump administration. Whether or not he wants to use the words "I concede" is not the issue. I don't give a 5h!t because I know that come January 20th we are either swearing in Joe Biden as the next president or we are in the middle of a civil war.

So please, if you have a Republican member of the Senate in your state or you live in a House district that a republican is serving in, write them and let them know they MUST make every effort to force the current president to begin a formal transition to the next one. Vital work needs to be getting done to ensure the new president hits the ground running in 2021. It is nothing short of treason out of the president -- once again -- when he behaves like a whiny spoiled child.

Tell your republican members of congress to get off their lazy collective azzes and for once in the worthless little lives put the country in front of their party. I have already contacted Brian Steil and the remarkably ridiculous Ron Johnson and told them the time is now to stop peddling divisive and dangerous lies about the election and instead begin to act like the patriots they claim to be. Enough is fvcking enough.

My god, the podium is perfect.

Interesting that the Ranked Choice Voting measure was defeated in Massachusetts but seems to be passing in Alaska. Any reasoning why it failed in Massachusetts?

If it's like other places both parties opposed it. In places where parties are still strong that makes a difference. MA is famously party-controlled. AK is famously independent.

What worries me is the GOP dominated everywhere but the presidential race, including statehouses. What kind of gerrymandering are they going to successfully pull off this time? Instead of picking up 30-40 seats in the House with a wave election, what if our wave elections only get us back to even, and even elections mean we lose 20-30 seats? Basically, the House and Senate could be just as disadvantaged against D’s.
