We don't have much snow (yet). Supposed to get 10-14 inches with blizzard conditions. I actually had my driveway and sidewalks cleared by 6 am, and left go to to work.. but none of the streets were plowed, so I slid all over the place. Decided it wasn't worth it, and even if I got TO work, getting home was going to suck - so now I am working from home. I am a little disappointed, since I would've actually been on time. :)

It is actually Southwest DC, not Southeast as it says in the description. The highrise on the left when he gets off at about 2:45 is where I live. Some of those cars are still covered in snow. (I was outside a few minutes ago.)

My mom keeps trying to buy a snow shovel but everywhere keeps selling out of shipments of 400-500 immediately. Are there really that many people who didn't have them beforehand?

Pretty cool clip. manages to do that without biffing, and the cop tailing them was pretty cool about not arresting them.

it wouldn't shock me... i think some of the attitude is either "it will melt" or "I've got 4 wheel drive, I can get through anything".

I was wondering about that... I started to wonder if work could have been feasible today with the Metro running for the most part. I got a bit more into the neighborhood today... wanted to go shoot pool but Continental in Rosslyn was closed and I didn't really feel like going over to Ballston after getting myself lost and wet in Rosslyn.

You know, the police should really start fining these places which haven't shoveled out their sidewalks.
