Now we're talking.To be fair, I don't think she's ever denied being a whore...
I care too, I'm a season ticket holder...and since last year's regular season avg attendance of 4415 would've ranked 15th in D1 hockey, some other people must care too! What I thought was so cute in this thread is that the Dud actually thinks someone besides the players and their families cares about a DII FB title.![]()
I know its pointless, just blowing off steam. I was a little surprised, while arrogantBad behavior at games is common, and complaining about it on a message board is pointless. If you really had a problem with those fans, you would have reported them to arena security and had them warned / thrown out of the building.
I know that. I was wondering if a Gopher senior class had ever not gone to an NCAA tournament before, which the current senior class is in danger of if they don't make it this season.Last made the NCAA Tourney in 2007. They last made the Frozen Four in 2005.
That's quite a run!...and to be perfectly honest, I've got a feeling it won't end this season. The last time a senior class failed to reach the NCAA tourney for MN was the class of '70. (Correction: I was off by a year glancing at the history). http://www.uscho.com/stats/history/minnesota/mens-hockey/2011-2012/
I know its pointless, just blowing off steam. I was a little surprised, while arrogantGopher fans are often pretty easy to get along with.
Can we count on another UMD-UMTC love fest later this year?![]()
1. Relax, I was taking a friendly little shot about the Gopher fan stereotype. 2. Like most stereotypes, it is based in truth. I'm a big Gopher rube for all sports except hockey and I have personal relationships with many Gopher fans. Unprovoked comments, texts, emails etc... about Gopher hockey superiority are quite common. While generally good-natured it does get old after awhile.Ever stop and think we may not be as much arrogant as defensive.

Not upset, or attacking you personally, just saying there are plenty of us Gopher fans who aren't arrogant but are tired of being generalized as such![]()
But some of us ARE arrogant and revel in it!
But some of us ARE arrogant and revel in it!
If we're all going to be generalized as such, maybe I should start being arrogant too![]()
....and some fellow fans get out of line cheering for your team don't be afraid to call a spade a spade.
Depends on how you interpret getting "out of line". Kind of like the refs knowing when to call those checking from behind penalties, you know it when you see it. Well, kinda sorta like that.![]()
