Awesome

May be making a trip up in the fall with a group to play a handful of Minneapolis' better offerings. Hope it works out. I've only played interlachen to date and the area has some great courses

Played same ball entire round

Pull hook left into trees. Tried to pitch out and hit a tree. Pitched out on 3rd and 4th shot landed short of green. Chipped up and left the putt for 6 short on the doorstep

Phil gets robbed of an opening 62 via the typical lip-out on 18. Guess he'll settle for a Royal Troon course record instead.

Was able to watch for a few hours live yesterday with British announcers. Surprised how sparse the crowd was in grandstands and sorry to see that Ivor Robsen had retired. :(

Lefty with a solid 69 today. One up on Stenson. The guys going out now are going to have to contend with typical Open weather. Drizzle and wind. Projected cut line is 1 over for now but with the change of weather it will more likely be 2 over.

The Open usually kills them with those rail tie reinforced bunkers. They wind up with pros taking snowmen. It's awesome.

But not this awesome.

Stenson takes the lead and has another great chance at birdie on the long par 3 number 5. Playing flawlessly thru 5.

Monty is in 81st (and last) place. Looks like he'll go off with a marker and have the cheers all to himself as he walks up 18 on Sunday.
