This is in connection to have the NG at the Capitol. Funny how the story with Flynn's brother keeps changing...

Funny how the optics of the military in DC over the summer didn't bug anyone. (even having helicopters fly low to terrorize citizens) do the optics of the Capitol being overrun look better?

Depends on who's overrunning the Capitol.

Donnie wanted the Guard and the police to march with the protestors from the ellipse to the Capitol to keep crowds on counter protestors away. Why did he want his followers to have a clear path to the Capitol? <sarcasm> we'll never know </sarcasm>

An Oath Keeper member who appeared to serve as one of infamous Trump ally Roger Stone’s security guards on the day of the Capitol siege on January 6 has been arrested on charges connected to the attack, NBC New York reported Monday.

The feds took the man with ties to the militia group, Roberto Minuta, into custody on Monday. He will appear in court in White Plains, New York later in the day.

The exact charges are not yet known.

CNN identified Minuta as one of the men who seemed to provide security detail for Stone outside a hotel in Washington before the attack, which was incited by President Donald Trump at his “Stop the Steal” rally. Minuta was seen wearing the Oath Keepers logo, and the Oath Keepers’ announcement of a “Freedom Rally” in support of Minuta’s tattoo shop identifies him as a member.

The New York Times pinpointed him as “Guard 6” in their analysis of videos of the Oath Keepers hanging around Stone. ABC News published one of the videos as well.

Richard Barnett, infamously photographed during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot with his feet propped on a desk in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) office, shouted that it was “not fair” that he remained in jail, in an outburst before a federal judge on Thursday.

In a virtual hearing, Barnett, 60, of Gravette, Ark., complained of his pretrial detention after U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper set the next court date for May.

“The government keeps dragging this out and letting everybody else out,” Barnett argued before the judge abruptly called for a recess for Barnett to speak with his attorneys, according to a transcript of the hearing.
