Yes. Lesbians have houses, too.

Whooooooooooooooooooooosh.

Yeah, I'm not sure you quite picked up on what I was writing. I'll take some of the blame for that. What I was saying is that I get a chuckle out of the idea it's popular to assign specific products or things to a group (for example, rednecks) when that same product is very popular with another group that seems to be at the other end of the spectrum, so to speak.

Hovey, the point isn't that an F-150 is a Nazi car. It's that the people mewling about being oppressed are spoiled and babied.

So your "hurr hurr isn't x ironic when ~x" is irrelevant because there is no x.

Cons can't do humor. Please stop trying.

I wasn't trying to make a joke or "hurr hurr" (whatever that is). The F-150 is sort of your "go to" for referencing rednecks or rural people or whoever it is you are mocking at any given point in time. That's fine, I don't care. The F-150 sucks, as vehicles go, so I don't really care that you or others might be using it in your mockery.

I just personally (that means me, it doesn't mean anyone else has to agree with me), find it funny when the F-150 is used for that particular mockery when there are groups of people out there who seem pretty much the opposite of the group you are describing who happen to be big fans of that product.

It would sort of be like if in your montage of photos you had the F-150, an AR-15 and a Phish album or something.

How do I join up? I wanna be tyrannized and oppressed.

The point of his post went completely over your head, didn't it?

Hasn’t the F-150 been the most popular selling vehicle for a decade or more now? Makes sense that it appeals to a wide range of people, from lesbians to lesbian-killers. That said, isn’t that an F-250 in the montage? Looks too hefty to be an F-150. Important to distinguish, to be sure.

Look, I don't care if in that particular post he was whining that many people who claim to be poor and oppressed really aren't. It was the picture of the F-150 that triggered my comment, primarily because I just read an earlier post of his (not sure which thread) in which he was making fun of some imaginary hillbilly from ND or something and their used F-150. The F-150 is sort of his go to for referencing rural rednecks, whether in that particular post he was mocking poor who aren't really poor.

I know that the Ford F-150 is kind of your running shtick, and this is off on a tangent from your point, somewhat, but did you know that the F-150 is frequently near the top of the list in terms of favorite vehicles purchased by the LGBT community? I've always just found that kind of funny.

So you think it's funny that the most popular vehicle in this country for the last 40 years is also one of the most popular in the LBGTQ community? Is it really funny that they are just as normal as any other person?

edit- kinda funny that you see one specific thing when the totality of the "oppression" is a very expensive brand new pick up, a bunch of expensive weapons, an expensive protective vest, an expensive McMansion, an expensive boat, and a well compensated for family.

Funny that you can't see the irony of having all of that wealth and status only to claim oppression.

Really gets you steamed, don' it?

Amazing the things that get you worked up. And the things you could care less about.

Alright, you guys have missed the point of my post. That's fine, it was unimportant anyway, just an observation. I give up.

You think the LBGTQ community is somehow outside of the norm in terms of popular vehicles is what read. You don't see LBGTQ as just the normal people they are.

When he isn't driving one of his Ducati bikes or his McLaren F1 to work, our Sector President drives a souped-up F-350. Or did, until last week. That's when a brand new, bright red, 4-door, dualie, F-450 showed up in his parking space. I guess he had an extra dose of suppression last year.

No, we got it. It makes you all p!ssy to have Kep equate deplorable loserdom with an F150.

Like I said, funny the stuff that gets you all p!ssy.

I was thinking it's too big for an 150. My work's parking lot has tons of them and that aint one of em.

It's a start.

Authorities on Wednesday announced the arrest of Joe Biggs, right-wing media personality and member of the violent extremist group the Proud Boys, for participating in the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol breach.

The Huffington Post reports that FBI officials arrested Biggs on three charges. Biggs was reportedly seen breaking a Capitol window using a clear plastic shield.

A video posted on the controversial social media site Parler apparently showed Biggs inside the building.

“In the video, a voice off camera says, ‘Hey Biggs, what do you gotta say?’ The person depicted below smiles broadly and replies, ‘This is awesome!’ before pulling his gaiter up to cover his face,” said an FBI agent in an affidavit obtained by Huffington Post.

Biggs reportedly admitted to FBI officials that he had entered the Capitol building but denied “having any knowledge of any pre-planned storming the Capitol, and had no idea who planned it.” He claimed the doors to the Capitol were wide open when he entered the building.

However, Biggs reportedly posted online that Proud Boys would be "blending in," Huffington Post notes, and wrote "Jan 6th is gonna be epic.”

Now only all of Fox News, OAN, Newsmax, and about 3 dozen Hate Radio hosts to go.
