Today I learned most of the books the Nazis burned were LGBT content, including the work of Hirschfield, who was working on plenty of trans-related research.

So all this bullshit about trans people being new is exactly that. Bullshit.
 
So my plant manager wants me to lead a women's group at work. I get it....but....what if I don't exactly identify as a woman?
On paper, I'm the right person for the job: been in manufacturing my whole career, of the 2 women on the management team I've been here longer.
Reasons I'm not right for it: I hate being female (but have accepted that my body is female), I put little to no value on typical feminine characteristics, and I don't like people.

Can you just... politely refuse? Not everyone needs to fight every battle and your reasons for choosing not to fight are none of our business.

Between Rachel Levine, Amy Schneider, Danica Roem, Lia Thomas, and Michaela Jae Rodriguez, it feels good to have positive trans representation.

Good Lord, the assholes are out in force after Lia Thomas became an NCAA Champion.

Pretty much the same reaction after Amy won on Jeopardy.

Then again, if a trans woman won a bubble blowing contest, you'd hear crap like "male lip stiffness."
