Authoritarians are worshipping their own fear and anger. It's been that was since 10,000 BC. The label they put on it is meaningless.

The cruelty is the point.
 
Wednesday was Day of Visibility.

I am perplexed as to why my community is labeled as supervillains by Red Pill Reddit and Evangelical right wingers. I just want to go home from work and play Animal Crossing in peace.
 
The Arkansas governor vetoed the bill banning trans kids from receiving affirming care.

Simple majority in both houses overrides. They have well over 2/3 who voted for the bill in both houses. This is ceremonial unfortunately.
 
I am heartbroken at what's happening in 21 states, including Michigan.

Imagine hurting kids for political points. How low can your soul go?

What they don’t understand they fear and/or hate. Those motives drive people to depraved actions against the innocent. It’s deplorable.
 
It is typical of the loudest "Christians" that they think the label gives them the auto bid to ethical standing. They say, "well, I'm saved so everything I think and do is okay because JESUS SAYS I'M GOOD!"

Of course, Jesus said no such thing, and if there was a hell those douchenozzles would be first round picks, but, again, it is indicative of their dullard mismeasure of their own morality that they will never know.

“This bill is just a first step to help protect our teachers, but when we have students in school now that don’t identify as a boy or a girl but as a cat, as a furry, we have issues,” GOP State Rep. Mary Bentley said, using an incorrect pronoun to describe students.

At this point, I'm donating what I can to groups helping families leave Arkansas.
 
Texas: raising a trans child is child abuse. Proposed legislation would remove the child from the home and label the parent a child abuser.
 
And it doesn't surprise me at all that either the "all lives matter" or "freedom over safety" crowds have been mute on any of this.
