It's like somebody broke into an ancient cache of the misogynistic cliches I heard growing up where the high brow 'intellectual" conservative Christianity of G. K. Chesterton and Malcolm Muggeridge was solemnly intoned as sage wisdom.

And a majority of them seem to come from two types of accounts. They either joined in the last 6 months and already have a suspiciously high volume of shitposts, or they joined prior to 2015 or so, but have recently started posting a lot of hot takes on women and transgender people. The former are obvious trolls, the latter might be actual bigots & cranks, or might be dormant legit accounts that have been hacked & repurposed. We saw some of that when TFG was in office, but with rumors swirling that Twitter Blue will soon roll out a feature allowing subscribers to hide their blue checkmark, combined with the forced deprecation of legacy verified accounts who don't start paying, things are about to get even messier.

Did you know that there are adult men who won’t wipe their ass after a number two because wiping their bum is gay? There’s enough of these on Reddit where I’m pretty sure it can’t all be fake. Men really walking around with dirty crusty bums to avoid a “gay” activity.

I won't believe this. I know, it makes perfect sense given the kind of people we are talking about, but... no. There are no adults who are living their lives by the "shake it more than twice you're plying with it" 4th grade rule.

We have a couple trans kids on campus. One of my supervisors ripped this kid's grandma a new hole (professionally) after grandma kept using the wrong pronouns and saying some awful things.
