Frozen Four 2023: Three Blue Bloods and and Upstart

Yeah, so? And UMn won 3 titles in the 70s when Denver was sucking arse.

Doesn't change the fact that UMn has 19 Frozen Four appearances in the last 50 years compared to just 7 for Denver.

19 > 7

Doesn't change the fact that UMn has 10 Title game appearances in the last 50 years compared to just 4 for Denver.

10 > 4

That's 2.5 times more. lol

Doesn't change the fact that UMn has 5 Titles to Denver's 4, in the last 49 tournaments. I'd say 50, but tonight's game is still ongoing, so I don't yet know if UMn will have a 5 vs 4 advantage over Denver or a 6 to 4 advantage???

In your original post you were talking about titles won “in our lifetime,” and since I’ve always assumed you are about 12 years old, I limited the time period for my response.

15th OT game in NCAA championship game history.

Quinnipiac's 1st. Minnesota is 1-2 in title game OTs - lost 5-4 to RPI in 1954, lost 4-3 to Harvard in 1989, beat Maine 4-3 in 2002.

Wow, such a retort, claiming you think I am a 12 year old when you know that's not the case, means you are LIAR.

Is that all you got? Is that all you can come up with? OMG, a 12 yo would run circles around your unimaginative arse.

I cannot wait for that list of reasons Minnesota is the greatest program ever...nobody has more heartbreaking losses?

So to riff off the earlier post from me...Colby Cohen is on the ice interviewing the Q coach. I'm wondering if he's remembering his turn at what Q just did.

Kudos to Quinnipiac. Great hockey game between two excellent teams.

It's always nice to see programs win their first. And what a way to win it. Enjoy it Bobcats fans!

OMG, it's over in 10 seconds! Congrats to QU on a gritty comeback, and to Minnesota - a truly tough opponent.

So, ECAC representative QU beats the top three BIG10 teams in consecutive games.

The Golden Chokers happened a mere 10 seconds into OT! What a feat!

QU takes down the Big Ten. Maybe that conference will win a title someday.

Seems like we should send it to them after taking out the top 3 teams in the conference.
