Marathon tomorrow. Focus, for now, is proper hydration for the rest of the day.
Very frustrating run on Sunday (only 1.5 miles), but ran 2+ miles the other 3 times last week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). May have sabotaged myself by having an enormous stack of pancakes for breakfast Sunday morning. Frustrating, but still hoping to run/finish the Smuttynose 5K on 10/2.

Never thought I'd say this, but I now look forward to coming home and working out. I'm starting to find that high you get during a solid workout. When the disc is over, I feel like I've accomplished something.

And by the way, for as long as I've been in distance, there have been times I've wondered if I've sabotaged myself. Going into this ultra on 9/24, I don't know if I've eaten enough. And I wonder if I've over-exerted myself at times. But no matter what happens, I know that on race day, everything will be fine.

I love pizza but I eat it super rarely given how little nutritional value it has (generally speaking). Hopefully they bring in something relatively healthy that you can eat (chipotle, sandwich places, etc.).
Chipotle isn't much better than pizza if you ask me. Unless you get a salad bowl, skip the rice, and don't add cheese or sour cream.
