FFFF Semi (4/8): Wisconsin vs. RIT

Re: FFFF Semi (4/8): Wisconsin vs. RIT

Clean the sand out of your vagina and get back to me.

You're the one on here whining two weeks after the fact.

Leave it to Jan to come on here and want to make it about her. Talk about a sandy vagina.

That was just simply a case of one team having more talent than the other. Hats off to RIT, but Wisconsin is the real deal and they proved it in game 1.

Re: FFFF Semi (4/8): Wisconsin vs. RIT

A very solid win over a decent team that had a bad day.

Now, one more win, if you please.

Re: FFFF Semi (4/8): Wisconsin vs. RIT

ONE MORE WIN FROM # 7 BABY!!! Congrats to RIT on a great season...You have nothing to be ashamed about...Frozen Four berth in your first NCAA Tournament....AHA Champs....A lot of teams being down 6-0 would have turned to playing dirty.....RIT did not.

Re: FFFF Semi (4/8): Wisconsin vs. RIT

RIT certainly did not play like they did in Albany. Wisconsin deserved to win, but the Hockey East officiating left plenty to be desired. The key five minute major call by Benedetto was at best two minutes; the RIT player barely touched the Wisco player. I believe the Badgers got two goals on the five minute penalty, not a minor factor in the game. I think Wisco would win the game regardless, but the officiating certainly did RIT no favors!

Re: FFFF Semi (4/8): Wisconsin vs. RIT

I was hoping that RIT would avoid an embarassing loss in the tournament, but Wisconsin hung the worst beating on the Tigers since our move to DI. Not the way I wanted to see this run end, but it was still a good day and a great memory. Real Fans know what I mean. I am still a PROUD RIT TIGER FAN!

Thanks to the Bucky fans who put up with us Tiger Fans. Right now I'm searching for that avalanche beacon and hoping I can find the shovel to dig out.:) :)

Now all Wisconsin has to do is make us feel better by going out and taking the championship back to Madison.

Gotta adjust to the refs, my friend. Everybody on the ice knows the NCAA is watching CFB and contact to the head very closely.

I think that blaming the refs in any way is pretty silly. Teams that are being outclassed/outplayed tend to take penalties. Always the case in hockey.

Actually I still blame the refs for taking the 92' championship away from the Badgers. (Up 2 zip in the championship game - when suddenly from the 2nd period on, the refs started calling penalties on Badger player checks that were not called in the 1st period or in the semi's. No offense to LSSU fans as you had excellent teams after that season too, but until that change in calls -where the badgers were consistently down players in the box, the Badgers owned your team! ;)

Re: FFFF Semi (4/8): Wisconsin vs. RIT

Congrats to RIT on a breakout season. Wayne Wilson has done a great job and your program has a bright future.

Bucky played about as well as they could play IMHO. The only thing that bothers me is that they never seem to be able to finish off odd-man rushes.

Re: FFFF Semi (4/8): Wisconsin vs. RIT

Very nice win for the Badgers, they made those two powerplay goals look easy. Nice season by RIT and nothing to be ashamed of, had Wisconsin not been in it, they would have been the team I cheered for.

I think Bennett should get the start Saturday :D

Re: FFFF Semi (4/8): Wisconsin vs. RIT

So we were a 1st period meltdown away from being in the NCAA Championship game. :(

DL,
I know St Cloud only has one NCAA tourney win....ever, but you need to win one of the semis in the Frozen Four to play for the championship.

I thought the same thing. Props to RIT for keeping it classy when the temptation was certainly there.

Re: FFFF Semi (4/8): Wisconsin vs. RIT

Well, I was hoping that my cockiness wasn't going to come back and bite me in the butt... The Badgers came out and proved me right, which was great to see. RIT, it was an amazing run for you, and I'm glad you got a taste of the Frozen Four. We did everything, and I mean everything right in the first period, we dominated the play and kept them off their game. After we got that back breaker in the 2nd, they really got frustrated and took dumb penalties that pretty much sealed it.
