Let's not kid ourselves here. RIT tops out at Very Good... I'm fine with that, but the truth is we're up against the elite of college hockey now. If we're to have any chance to pull off the upset we'll have to be lucky as well.

Hockey is a funny sport... it really is. The puck bounces in some strange ways and the smallest mistakes or littlest bit of luck at the right time can really turn a game around more than just about any other sport. We've got a punchers chance and I'm thrilled about it. It's small, but it's there.

Youtube search badger hockey students for better clips of the student section at the Kohl. You will not get the full experience tonight because the student section will be probably be 300 people compared to 3,000.

RIT dispatched the McNaughton Cup winner. Wisconsin will have to be both good and lucky to win.

I've been to many games at the Kohl, and some football games. When the whole crowd gets involved, it's a pretty cool sight.

For RIT being a smaller school than UW (not as small as many think tho), i think a lot of people will be surprised by the Tiger faithful. But then again, this is history in the making for the program, so you can imagine the school is going all out to promote. RIT has never really had much of what you'd call School Spirit until now. They/(We Alum) have something all the cliques can rally around together now.

That, and the extra fans just cheering for a dog.....

I love that. One of the best things the marketing department has done, IMO.

Epic... That's the only word to describe that video. This was such an awesome thing to see before the games this season. They're going to have to go back and edit it with some stuff from this season.... Notably, Hobey Baker winner Blake Geoffrion and Seven National Championships

For the past week and a half, all us fans have talked the talk...

Now, with a little more then 2 hrs before the puck drops, it's time for the teams to see who can walk the walk...Best of luck to both teams, and, as I prepare to head out and park my carcass in front of my sons' 56" (HD, of course) I look forward to a great game, and can't help but recall the immortal (or is that immoral?) words of the Legendary Al Bundy....

"LET'S ROCK....."

Oh, one more thing.....

The Bohmber and Murray have switch lines so Andy is on Geffrion's line this afternoon.
