Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

Did I do something wrong that in USCHO-2 on FCH I am the only team that is showing a roster or have the other seven teams yet to post theirs? It only seems to have three teams listed in the league and when I go to look at All Rosters, mine is the only one posted. Let me know..

You could be the only one who's put theirs in officially. I don't have access to the db right now to check..

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

Rookie question- What exactly do I have to do to get my drafted players on my roster? I missed that explanation/am too dumb to figure it out on my own.

Not a problem. :)

It is up to each GM to make sure they draft 12 F's, 8 D's and 4 G's.

I have created all the leagues. When the draft is done, you will have to enter your roster by
1. Go to the FCH site www.fantasycollegehockey.com
2. Click Sign Up in the red bar
3. Fill it out. The password for your league is uschoboard
4. Click the button to enter your roster

The league we are in is USCHO-2. (You already are signed up from what I saw).

There should be a link to perform an initial roster set up. Click that link. You'll be presented with 24 drop down boxes with current known players to USCHO's stats.

Using the roster you drafted last night, select your players.

If there are rookies, temporarily select players from a crappy unknown team that you know were not claimed in the draft. ShirtlessGuy recommends AIC, I recommend MTU. ;)

*edit* And make note of the temporary place holder here in this thread.

I keep getting sent in circles. I go to initial roster setup, it makes me login, then I have to go back to GM Home because it doesn't redirect anywhere, then I click initial roster setup again, then it says I'm not logged in again, and then repeat.

Try logging out, clear your browsers cookies (or at least the cookies for FCH), and try logging in again.

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

If you are using the same username as last year, the system may get confused and you need to logout and login again. I have fixed this problem going forward by making the "remember me" cookie expire at the time the system rolls over to the next season.

Let me know if you are still having this issue, and if so, some info like what browser you are using.

For the moment, USCHO has not posted complete rosters so FCH doesn't have them either. Once USCHO puts them up I can refresh the data.

Is there a record of the Wed. draft? Can I reset the draft tool for the next group?

Nothing. I think it's just automatically logging me out every time I go to my team page for some reason. Any time I click roster setup or anything else I need to be logged in for, it say "Your login is invalid. Please log in first."

I didn't do it last year, so that shouldn't be an issue. I'm using Safari and I've never had a problem like this on any other password-protected sites.

I am an amateur developer and cookies are squirrelly. I don't have a Mac so I can't test using that. Do you have another browser? Failing that please email me at fantasycollegehockey at gmail dot com, I have a back door you can try.

Did you try the remember me or automatic login?

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

I drafted 8th(last) and picked Nyquist. First pick in the 2nd round(9th) was Polacek. Not surprised he was still around, but I was for Nyquist.
Thats all on ctf and pgrass for taking Joe Howe and Conacher too early.
