Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

my team is doing ok. but i should have never traded paul thompson for jimmy hayes!

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

If it makes you feel any better Hayes outplayed Thompson tonight.

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

Monster night for me last night. 26 points from skaters (thanks mostly to 9 from Bryan Haczyk) plus two solid goalie performances gave me a 39 point day.
Wow... that's a big number. I had a 49 point weekend and vaulted into 1st place on Friday (and that was with no points from my stud, Broc Little).
My offense is stacked. :D
Haczyk and teammate Paul Zanette (leading FCH point scorer) are lighting it up right now. My 2 Yalies have been scoring regularly, as well as my 2 from Brown.

Had this good weekend with Nyquist, Diamond, Chiasson, Zucker, and Lamoureux all riding the pine. Go with the hot hands. :)

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

Niagara is averaging 3.66 goals per game although their scoring seems to come primarily from Hazyck and Zanette, who each have 21 goals.

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

UNHSince1969 - USCHO3

Successfully dropped Hanowski, Ben (St. Cloud State) for Da Costa, Stephane (Merrimack)

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

Jabber811 - USCHO1

Successfully dropped Larkin, Thomas (Colgate) for Bodie, Mat (Union)
Successfully dropped Bakala, Dan (Bemidji State) for Reichard, Cody (Miami)

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

Unsuccessfully left Gustav Nyquist on the bench last night. :(
He had a hattie.

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

Merrimack scores 11 and no one scores a hattie? Barton did well, 2-3--5 with a PPG.

Successfully dropped Lindblad, Matt (Dartmouth) for Carey, Paul (Boston College)
USCHO-1

Successfully dropped Schultz, Stephen (Colorado College) for Lamoureux, Jacques (Air Force)

Successfully dropped Diamond, Joey (Maine) for Kramer, Mike (Princeton) -

Kramer is averaging 3.75 pts per game over the last 30 days. Pretty good

3rd place, baby. Been crawling back for months now. But I don't think I'll cross that 70 pt chasm up to pgrass.

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

I know it's early yet, but can someone explain how the playoffs work?
Do we have another draft for players whose teams are still playing in the post season?
Do the playoffs start at the conference championships or the NCAA's?
Thanks.

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

Tonight was a disaster for me. I think I only got 3 pts (2-1--3) from my skaters.

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

Just a reminder that this is the final week of the FCH regular season.

Re: Fantasy College Hockey #9 (The Apricot-Flavored Season)

It's a blowout in USCHO-2. I'm up by 74 over 2nd, and 160 over 3rd.

Keep up that attitude and you'll get knocked out in the first round...WBWs stopped caring about the RS title a few months ago...just biding his time for playoffs ;)

Same with my team. I had about 3 months where I didn't change my lineup more than twice. Oh well, still going into playoffs as the 2 seed, and I still have a good roster.
