It has nothing to do with who's being paid by whom or what attendance policies are, it has to do with calling our idiots for being idiots without blowing things into some large scale accusation.

What's kinda ridiculous is giving a blonde blue eyed woman, with no verifiable claims of minority status, any consideration whatsoever based on that asserted status. It's also kinda ridiculous for America's "most prestigious" law school to subsequently pat itself on the back for having hired its first "minority professor." The jig is up. This is one instance where an elite school has been caught gilding the lily. If Princess Summerfall Winterspring had given a plausible (read: truthful) explanation in the beginning, this whole business would have gone away. But she didn't and it hasn't.

Perhaps they're patting themselves on the back because they made NOW happy.

Who's been doing all this painting you referred to? No one has suggested "every single teacher" or even most teachers or even a significant number of teachers are as stupid as this b*tch. You say "it has nothing to do with who's being paid by whom and what attendance policies are." You are wrong. What can parents do about a teacher as manifestly incompetent as that woman? Their kids are required to attend. And their taxes pay her salary.

If a minister is off the tracks stupid you simply change churches. And you're not taxed to support a church, you give donations. This may be a distinction without a difference to you, but not to me.

Really, the funniest part about this is that the woman is a social studies teacher and she's making up junk, pulling it directly from her posterior, just trying to gull and persuade these kids to be nice to Pres. Obama. And she's presenting it all as pure fact. She's a teacher - she's a teacher making a great case for school choice without meaning to do it.

If a parent finds a teacher acting like that at a private school, that parent can remove the child to another school, removing funding from that school should they not react in a manner the parent finds satisfactory. It also helps that a private school has much greater latitude in dismissing that teacher.
