What if they reformed the US healthcare systems and forgot to include the doctors?
First we were told "it's not a tax" but then SCOTUS said, "the only way this law survives is by calling it a tax, because the mandate is out."
Then we were told "if you are happy with your doctor, you can keep him / her" but what happens when the doctors say "this law is too onerous, we're not accepting any new patients and we're not replacing patients that leave." ? Then what?

So, Mittens Romney, way to stay on message. First he's caught on tape back in 2008 saying he imposed a tax in Mass for those declining insurance. Then his spokesman says no its a penaltly. Now he comes out yesterday saying its a tax on the fed level but not on the state level? What an idiot. Conservatives, you really believe in this guy? Can he go one week without publically taking both sides of an issue?

This is what his opponents meant in the primaries when they insisted nominating Romney would take away a huge club to beat Obama with. To be fair to Mitt, there really is no smart way to play it for him. The best he can do is be silent and let surrogates blast Obamacare as federal overreach. But every time Romney himself opens his mouth on the subject he looks at best like he's lawyering the point and at worst that he's lying. This is like Clinton trying to say a blowjob isn't sex -- the only way to win is not to play.

Maybe I'm thinking of the simple minded discipline of Bush's campaigns, but this whole thing is hilarious.
First, post ACA ruling/Roberts treason, the GOP spin machine and their willing sycophants amongst conservative posters out here started the "its actually a win because of the Commerce Claus ruling". This lasted a day until some conservative professor came out and blasted this as stupid logic, a govt expansion is a govt expansion regardless of whether its due to taxation or commerce. Then rigthies moved onto the "This guarantees Romney's election" both Trump on CNBC, the pro-Romney Boston Herald and other mouthpieces hitting this a day later. Quickly this one was circling the bowl as it was pointed out that Romney raised taxes too then by the SCOTUS definition. The Romney = White House Lock theme was also discarded for The Medicare ruling will lead to every govt program being thrown out. Fishy I believe did his job and brought up this cause when told to by Fox news or Drudge. Even before this riduculous notion had time to get lambasted, Mittens throws a wrench in all those plans by re-raising the tax issue and then saying it is on the federal level but not on the state level. Yikes. Is it too late to call in Rick Sanitarium?

Romney also reversed himself less than 24 hours later and parroted a WSJ editorial verbatim, saying "now that the Court has ruled it a tax I will repeal it." Because before that, who knew it was a tax? Romney was shocked... shocked do you hear. (Even though he said it was a tax when he proposed it in MA).
All in all a terrible two weeks for the GOP with the two Court rulings and then the European compromise that decreases the chance of a Euro implosion.
