Re: Election Results Thread

I don't believe you. This is a red country. We got lulled with all the Presidential wins by Dems since Clinton but it's a mirage. State houses, school boards, and everything else has been red all along. That's not going to change. Doesn't matter what Trump does..

lot of truth here. also agreed with the bald guy on msnbc (not carville). both establishment parties lost. tD filled the vacuum. but he got sucked in by the majority of voters. there are more D than R here, so if anyone wins it is because they pull a bunch of D voters.

Re: Election Results Thread

Yeah, square that. I don't get it.

White people are stupid? Women didnt like her so ignored her?

He is winning the Rust Belt and he could give two craps about the Rust Belt.

If I was a Muslim I would be packing my bags...if I was a Latino I would have left 3 hours ago.

Re: Election Results Thread

As I posted weeks ago, Hell is too good a place for Hillary to spend eternity if she could not find a way to convince enough of the voters to vote for her. Had she not run, I can't imagine this not being a democratic landslide with literally any other democratic candidate if that democrat ran against Trump. For good reasons or bad, she was so a known hated commodity that even the single worst candidate to run on a major party ticket for president in perhaps the history of the country could beat her. We talk about the fact that the republicans put party ahead of country all the time on this forum. Well Hillary put her personal glory ahead of country in a big way.

I remember thinking in June the only way I'd vote for HRC is if she was running against DJT.

Re: Election Results Thread

Everything that I had on my list as to why I won't vote Republican ever again I now have to learn to live with all of it. That's the Country I live in. It's no longer my Country. I don't believe in this Country anymore. Sorry, I don't. I still stand during the National Anthem. I still show my respect to vets. But, as for the country itself and it's institutions. I don't believe in them anymore.

After GW I thought this wouldn't happen again. And here it is.

Re: Election Results Thread

This was the first sign.

Between that and the "hidden Drumpf vote" this country is just nuts.

CNN just said "there are people who voted for Obama who voted for Drumpf". Think about that for a second...

Re: Election Results Thread

Other than personal things, I don't think I have ever been more sad. I really believe in the American experiment. Sovereignty has to be vested in the people -- there is no morally superior way.

The people have spoken.

I tried to warn everyone that he was playing Celebrity Apprentice the whole time.

Maybe, just maybe if the DNC had staged an election instead of a coronation for their candidate, the results would be a lot different.

Jesus Christ that is exactly what I was thinking. This is not my country...
