ECAC Predictions - 2010 - 2011 - Yearly Standings Update

It has been a month since the last Yearly standings report, so time for an update version.

Just like the Big Red Machine on the ice, MattJ is running away with things in predicting what happens on the ice. While his Big Red are still unblemished in the ECAC, Mattj, while not perfect, has managed to have at least a share of the weekly top spot award 7 of the 11 weeks. He has a 69 plus picking accuracy percentage. Well Done.

Congrats to this weeks ECAC award winners, Rookie Carly Mercer from Clarkson, a former Bluewater Hawk , Sophomore Kelly Sabatini from SLU, a former Stoney Creek Sabre and Junior Goaler Kate Gallagher from Union. Nice to see a Dutchwomen get one of the awards, and congrats to all three.

- Everyone picked a Quinny sweep over WS and was 1 for 2.
- No one got the Dartmouth over RPI result right.
- No faith in Cornell by the ECAC folks. ?? Only two poolies correctly picked Cornell's win Mercyhurst

The answers to the weekly questions week:

Will Mazotta be able to Play in the big game......?...Nope, but it did not really matter did it. :)
Will the Crimson stay Hot and climb and get bck into top 10 contention....?..They stayed Hot and are now knocking on the top 10 door.
Which Dartmouth team will show up this weekend.....?...The one that won two games.
Will Babstock stay Hot and win the ECAC scoring title as a rookie.....?...RJ passed her this weekend
Can the Bobcats go 3-0 and make a push for the top 10....?...One win, One Loss, One PPD, but they are in the top ten.
Can the Dutch Women spring a surprise....?...Nope, at least not yet. But..Season ain't over yet.
Can the Bears rebound from the Erie trip....? ....Somewhat. They came back from a 3-0 deficit to tie Clarkson, but they could not hold on.

- Can the Tigers continue their 7 game win streak? (Seems like eons since they played)...They made it eight in a row, another shutout, but then lost to Clarky.
- Can Yale and Colgate get back into the playoff race after losing ground last weekend?...Colgate yes with a weekend sweep, uphill road now for Yale to make it.
- Can the Northern teams keep ahead of them?....Clarky had two more wins, 4 in a row. SLU lost both, and now have the Raider breathing down their neck.
- Which hot and cold Dartmouth team will show up this week?..The Hot one, five wins in a row.
- Who will finish second behind the Big Red ?????....Looks like Harvard is making a serious run for second spot, with Dartmouth the only other team in contention.
