East Regional - 3/25 and 3/26 - UMD, Yale, Union and Air Force

Your mothers are all whores.

Re: East Regional - 3/25 and 3/26 - UMD, Yale, Union and Air Force

This has turned into the happy quiet regional thread, Yale and Union fans are too afraid the trash talk each other because we know either can beat the other, and the two teams from out west do not have a huge presence on the board. Actually after last year I like it this way. I can't wait for the games and may hit Murphys Law for lunch on Friday. I will be the handsome dude in the blue #14 Yale sweater.;)

We have plenty of presence. (Well, I don't know about Air Force, they're not included in the "we.") We just don't give a **** about your little teams. The only thing you should consider more insulting than trash talk is silence. We also have our own message board AND have mastered word wrap.

Union won't be able to stop UMD's first line but then again not many teams this year could but with that being said Kinkaid will play well I think but UMD will prevail 4-3. The Yale game I think will be a blowout because Yale wants that revenge and also remember I'm pretty sure Rondeau did not play in that game. Also the altitude could have played a roll in AFA favor and not its reversed this time so I will go with 5-1 Yale.

"The NCAA gives your school a certain ticket allotment and we sold out of those," said Leaman. "Then we used the tickets that Duluth and Air Force didn't use and sold out of those. I'm expecting a pro-Union crowd there."

I would think that the local fans from Yale and the CT area may root for Union as well against Duluth.

Kind of funny, considering all the teams in this regional have the same number of D1 championships...

Yes, just like you didn't care about Bemidji who went on to beat your team. Big difference this time is once you lose, you pack your bags and go home.

Safe to say that whichever team wins the early game will be rooting for Air Force to beat Yale (not going to happen, although hard to mock Air Force). Question is for Air Force and Yale fans, who are you rooting for in the first game?

I'm pulling for Union..

Do you guys think it will be full for the Union/UMD game or will the Yale/AF fans not come until the night game?

Is the tailgate out? Ralph & Rich's? My dad is driving out from OH as I write to join me in Bridgeport. He's a Fan Forum lurker and we'd like to meet up with the group at some point.

We'll be heading down to watch Yale practice today. Anyone else planning to attend? Go Blue!

I have not heard from anyone about the tailgate aspect, it is going to be a little cold tommorow as well. I was thinking of heading into Bridgeport around noon and hitting Murphy's Law for lunch(kibitz with some Union faithful) and maybe have a beer at Ralphs and Richs before the early game, my buddy can't get out of work until 2pm. I might sneak out and check out the practice to see who is actually skating this week for Yale. I am in Section 113 row V for the weekend.

I would say you would see about 5K in the stands initially and as the first game wears on the place will start filling up. I would presume that some locals would not be able to leave work in time for the first game.

Will be in attendence rooting on the fellow league teams sporting my Q jersey. Wasn't too excited about the teams picked for this regional as I've seen 3 of the 4 mutliple times. But the games should be competitive at the very least.

Duluth whores are clean and STD free! Much much better than a Yale whore. Or Dutchwomen whore.

As long as you don't mind a little blubber that is. Have to keep warm somehow up there and the Schell beer just doesn't cut it.

Regarding tickets: "As of Wednesday, 7,300 tickets had been sold for the East Regional and 1,100 were still available to the public, according to Yale officials."
