This one is another genius...first her email was hacked last year now her phone.

Ah so you just fundamentally don't understand what it is we want or how immigration works...very brave of you to admit that!

Here is something that might get you started...many of the people being deported are not here "illegally" and even putting quotes on it to act like they are even technically illegal is incorrect, racist and stupid. For example, asylum seekers are not illegal.

People who are here on visas and dare to use their right to free speech are not here illegally and violated no rules to have their visas revoked.

But, since I am sure you will come back with some pedantic BS argument based on a word I used like some two bit podcaster taking money from the Russians...I will tell you my new feelings on the matter:

I was never for an open border, until now. I would rather have the dystopia the Right (and sellout pr!cks like Gallego) pretends is happening than whatever the phuck this Nazi azzed policy is. Even without the racisms and such...the policy is illegal and inefficient. It has zero value except to replace the Viagra for a bunch of limp dicked White Losers who can't get off anymore.
See, if you hadn't waited until now to adopt my open border policy we wouldn't have had all this bs. If no visas are required to be here, it's pretty hard to revoke those visas.

Immigration is not a big deal for me...I live in phucking Minnesota. I tend to worry more about stuff that impacts me and the people I care about writ large. I shouldnt have to worry that 49% of this country wants mass deportations because they are racist phuckwits.

(and yes I know some of the people deported supported this)

I care more about outsourcing our skilled labor to India

In a few years they will have to be educated abroad as well.
Most of the ones I work with do not have degrees or credentials from American schools. There are a ton of "tech institutes" in India where they spend 1-2 years learning the basics, get a piece of paper roughly equivalent to an associate's degree, and are then unleashed into the corporate world as "freshers".

Are you "100% open borders", or "Pre-1924 Open Borders where we still tell the Chinese, Irish, and Jews to fuck off?"
We let plenty of them in though. We just limited their employment and social opportunities with discriminatory practices, which is how an open borders plan would work. Do away with work visas and green cards, and suddenly "Only citizens need apply" since we're the only ones with work authorization.

Who said anything about only citizens have work authorization? Did you literally not read anything I posted?

That's really going to be your argument? We can't open the borders because we'd just discriminate against persons who decided to move here but elected to not become citizens?

Nah, the ICE raids are on you. However, I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for an acknowledgment of that fact.

Dig out the old immigration threads. My position on immigration was made crystal clear in those threads, but quickly shouted down by this crowd.

My position is, and has always been, this. If you want to move to the U.S., live here, work here, our response should be "welcome." Open border. All we insist is that you follow our rules. If you work, pay your taxes. If you want to drive, you need to get a driver's license. Pretty simple. But you don't get to be a citizen, and enjoy the rights and privileges that go along with being a citizen (such as holding government office or voting) unless you take the steps necessary to become a citizen and commit to this country.

Ah, but no, that was way too outrageous for all of you. Most of the responses were like, "that's ridiculous, what about sovereignty? Where will all these people live? What about all of the terrorists? We have to have specific rules about who, and how many can come into this country."

But I believe that I then left you with a word of caution. If you are going to allow government officials to set rules about who can enter the country, you better be prepared for unhappiness when the administration in power chooses to use those rules in a way not to your liking.

So, no, there is nothing about what ICE is doing that is acceptable or right or humane. But it's the system you wanted, so congrats.
You're not supposed to drink the bong-water.

It's not disingenuous at all. Yeah, that's right, you and others want to pick and choose who you let into this country, or let stay here if they entered "illegally," and now you're bitter that there is a racist old fool in charge and he's not picking and choosing how you'd like. Maybe the pick and choose method ain't so great, eh?
It was never "pick and choose" you ignorant cunt.
