I'm tired too and I'm sick to death of the cowards, bullies, imbeciles, and criminals on the Right. But we are looking at, at worst, 1% wealthy cynics, 4% grifters, 10% racists, and 15% religious fanatics. About 30% of the population are irreversibly evil. The rest of the Right are just dopes -- they followed Happy Boy Reagan and Blundering Dubya and they'll follow anybody else who won't challenge what their parents and pastors drilled into them when they were 6, but they aren't evil, they're just sheep.

Yeah, the 30% got 21% more to go along with them, and that is horrible, particularly since that we had all just had a front row seat to how inept and corrupt the Dumpies are. I get it, it is demoralizing. But this country also contains all of us, and it has a history ranging from Madison, Jefferson & Lincoln to FDR, MLK, & AOC. The nation of America is our highest ideals, and I believe in that. The ethno-Christian terrorists who have briefly seized control are a lethal threat but also just another in a line of disease vectors from Slavers to Gilded Age Billionaires to Segregationists. Those fucks are the exception that proves Our Rule.

You and I are America. dx and Handy are America. DGF and Miss T are America. So no, not fuck America. Fuck cancer.

We have people who no longer can access vaccines that their doctor recommends across the country.
We have women bleeding out in parking lots because the medical care they require is considered an abortion and we can't do those because of God. They're dying in some cases.
We have citizens of the United States being deported without due process.

So, we have the people in charge of the country killing it's citizens, killing other countries citizens, and stifling the free expression of ideas while deporting it's own citizens from the country.

But, yeah, we're nothing like those other nations. We're the home of the free (white, hetero male ) and the brave (white hetero male)

It really sucks being cursed with empathy. The best way to be born in America is as a sociopath.

Yeah, it's tough to have empathy for a douchebag who had none. I do feel bad for his daughters, who are too young to understand or process all of this for themselves.

They don't 'choose' that.

They get it thrust upon them because too many people like you would just rather quit and let it happen instead of fighting against it. I know, it's too hard, you're too tired, nothing's gonna make a difference. And that's how you end up with Hungary and Belarus.

This is nothing new. You just didn’t care before, if it was someone you didn’t like.

Like the staunch Marxist you are, you would applaud the State harming anyone you don’t agree with and/or don’t like. In a heartbeat.
