Dump Term 2, 1.01: Sleep Now in the Fire

Saw some great footage of a school in Kentucky in a county that went 84% for the orange blob. Freaking out about potentially losing federal funding for their school where a huge portion of the students are in poverty. Sounded like some kids only meals are at school. Assistant principal mentioning how so many important programs are federally funded. Cut to orange droolius saying he will eliminate DOE. Cut back to assistant principal saying she voted for him but that is not what she voted for. That find out stage of FAFO is a bitch.
 
Any educator who votes for Trump should be kicked from the union and have their credentials forfeited.

Given what Ben has done in Wisco, I’m surprised and wondering if the geriatric leadership is what chose this

It's confirmed that Musk and DOGE has been given control of the treasury account that pays out Social Security, Medicare, and government contracts.


Odds that Social Security payments don't go out on time this month? Or are all?

And don't forget the House still needs to come up with a budget before March...
 
Oh. My. God. The White House is moving the goal posts on the tariffs. This whole thing is "because of Fentanyl", and now they're running to remove the De Minimis Rule.

What does this mean to US consumers? It means that overseas goods under a certain value are exempted from customs fees. If that goes away, all the cheap shit purchased from Temu, Shein, Amazon, etc., is subject to customs fees paid by the buyer.

My guess is Wisconsin going Red is being held against him rather unfairly.

Ken Martin is...meh.
