Dump Term 2, 1.01: Sleep Now in the Fire

Also, all me old fashioned, but i always thought of SCIFs as "shoot anyone who attempts to enter without authorization"
Isn't that basically the MO? TFB, the most clearance I've ever had is Public Trust (technically not a clearance), so...

There've been a couple of fed projects where I've been told that ***well-known fed contractor*** has a SCIF and will be leading ***division's*** implementation. Beyond that, I have no details (and probably for good reason).

Which is basically a warning that you'll be fired into the sun if you so much as fire a neuron intending to go there.

I've worked in SCIFs for 20 years. There are ways of getting a visit request (VR) if you are not read into a program, but (1) they are formal and multi-stepped, (2) they require several levels of security authorization, (3) they mostly are for personnel who are TS/SCI (Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information) for related programs, and (4) most importantly, line of sight to any data classified as TS under that special access program (SAP) is ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN.

I would also add that if Elmo is actually attaching his servers to our TS networks he has compromised all of national defense and intelligence and is the biggest threat to our country in history. That literally would get you shot on sight. TS is defined as "containing or being information whose unauthorized disclosure could result in exceptionally grave danger to the nation."

LOL

It’s not like anyone has a gun in a SCIF. Heck, many don’t even have security personnel. At least none I’ve ever worked in.

So these "protections" that our country supposedly had baked into the laws and constitution were just "Concepts of a Guardrail?"

He is and they won't because they have been ordered not too. The person in charge of National Defense has said it's cool.

Trump is supposedly call Trudeau tomorrow...expect the tariffs to disappear and him to declare victory over nothing. (He is calling Mexico too)

As someone in Bluesky said...they should tape the calls and release them to the press.

Executive Orders control these security measures. He's the top of the food chain. He can change them.
Our protection was: don't knowingly elect a traitor.

Low bar, but half of the electorate couldn't clear it.

George Carlin is looking up at us smiling!

Hey the Dems are going to hold a PC tomorrow afternoon to "sound the alarm about DOGE"! That will sure fix things! I feel safer now...

The Democratic Party is a phucking joke. I'm glad I cut my donations they are worthless...even the young ones. I don't trust any of them to actually put up a fight especially leadership.

And one, is Muskrat even a citizen of this country?

He has no position that has Constitutional authority, DOGE is an "advisory" board, and none of these people have security clearances to have access to any of the stuff they want.

And yet, here we are. The party that whined about unelected bureaucrats making all the decisions has turned the entire government over to an unelected bureaucrat.

And Sic and Hovey are just fine with that.
