I don't have an answer for you. It's seems like there has always been a Peluso playing hockey somewhere, swarming like bees out of Northern Minnesota. :eek: Hockeydb lists no less than 10 Hockey playing Pelusos, and most of them come from Minnesota.

My memory might be faulty but I thought the Peluso's had a connection to another family relation in Edina. You know it has been so long that I can't remember the family.

Swami is correct, and it's actually a really good movie. I wish the unedited version was out there somewhere, but all of the stuff they had to cut out is lost. :(

I know TCM shows this particular "classic" from time to time. I have no idea whether the version they show is edited or not.

There's only one version, just over an hour long. Because of all the editing they had to do (very controversial film back in the day), and how old it is, that footage is long gone.

The funny thing is, much of the uproar was about "exploiting" the circus people for a movie, but the movie actually portrays the circus people as kind/honest/loving humans, and the "normal" people like monsters, or freaks. Stupid society not getting the message. :mad:

Congrats, DU. First two periods were amazing hockey for both teams, then MN decided to crap the bed, and DU decided to show us why they are ranked as high as they are.

BUT YOU DIDN'T SHUT US OUT! HA! TAKE THAT! Ah, what's the use. I can't take solace in that. We're not Tech. :(

I really hope tomorrow's different, but I am not getting my hopes up.

I agree with Brent the first two periods were fun to watch but some of the goals scored in this game were not NHL caliber. DU deserved to win this game.

Nothing like getting knocked out of the TUC and showing the rest of the country the Gophers rarely show any passion. I have never seen a team show so much sleep walking through a season. It is like they don't care and are waiting for the NHL to call ASAP. I bet we see three or maybe four guys leave after this season because their development is being slowed down.

The first two periods were fun to watch if you're a Gopher. DU was not mentally in the game and passed the puck like #%%#%! UM out shot us badly and were throwing bodies everywhere. DU was looking past UM to tech! :D DU's PP looked like Mercyhurst's.

George reamed them in the second intermission and woke up his first line especially Ruggs. DU has a chance to make history tomorrow night with a season sweep of the Gophs and the UNDies. I expect they'll be mentally ready.

The difference tonight again and for the I don't know how many times all year was Marc the pointer getter Chevy.

This team is absolute ****. I have to be happy with them scoring a **** goal against someone. This is no place a program like Minnesota should be, regardless of opponent. Makes me want to effing puke.

Well I was wrong. I thought for sure MN would lose 1-0.
