Shots DU 25 MN 23, Gophers had a good flurry at the end of the period to add a couple of shots that Chevy turned away.

DU with 5 penalties in the period and MN with 3

Faceoffs won DU 20 MN 18

That's a bit harsh. Both Denver goals have been earned. Even the mythical third goal was a strong effort, capitalizing on a fortuitous bounce.

Denver has been great but you don't have to be that good to play a team that can't score and can't hit the net on a shot.
